Staying fit and getting a run of games under his belt.

We should then see the best of him.

I recall at the beginning of the season we were all complimentary about his performances.

Speak for yourself!

Well,  the people who know a bit about football were complimentary Wassy.

Ha cheers, well let's hope all these football geniuses know what they're talking about then!

It is clear that Nuno rates Sangare highly.

I have yet to be impressed with Sangare. I like Yatesy better. I think our Ryan really has come on leaps and bounds and Sangare is um okay...

I hope there is more to him because we spunked a lot of cash on him and he has done nothing for us yet. Hopefully him and Ryan play togethet tomorrow and we can compare.

Chicago: Team Yatesy.

I think someone mentioned before its easy to like Yates as he's all action, getting stuck in. Sangare you have to look past his languid style, strolling about in the hope that he shows the quality you need to go with that. So far, other than an assist for MGW, we're being short-changed.

Sangare can improve and acclimatise all he wants, but unless he can suddenly acquire that yard of pace I feel he is missing for the PL, I don’t think he will ever really justify his transfer fee.

(Caveat: unless he was always playing with an injury pre-op)

Yep agreed, glad I'm not the only one who thinks it.

I also think in the half season since he last played that we've outgrown him. Now whether our new loftier position and better results might suit him is another debate.

Morato playing on the right of a back 3 when he is left footed didn't look too comfortable today v Fulham. Thought he struggled with his positioning which led to him being beaten in the air far too easily on occasions. Easy with hindsight of course but perhaps Boly would have been a better bet and a natural fit.

So barring Hennessey our entire squad has had some game time in the past 5 days.
Will make an honourable exception for Sels, Wood and possibly Awoniyi. The rest Im afraid must do better.

Positives. What we know from this season, a pleasant surprise actually, is that they can do a lot better.

They certainly can do better and they have proved it. I suppose we were always going to have a little dip at some stage but we need to get over it quickly.

I still have faith and belief in the current players.

The performances have dropped a bit the last few weeks but ultimately we lost away to 5th and 8th, hardly crisis results. We also battered 10th place 7-0.

Would could conceivably lose the next three games but even if we do we'll still be sat in or around the top 5.

We'll probably get a win in one of the games anyway I reckon. If we could get something on Sunday to keep Newcastle from closing the gap that'd be nice.

Only one player who I thought was poor last night was Moreno. What’s happened to him? Thought he was going to be quality but I thought we had resigned Bong on occasion.

Have to agree, appears that since lost his place to Neco the drop off is quite something. Prefer Toff tbh.
