I got in quick summer 2023 before the sponsor got sorted, was pleased with myself. No discount then obviously, but it meant I could sit back smugly happy with having them for my match day shirts this season while people paid £75 for a pilates costume with that sponsor on. (I really don't like our away kit).
Out of interest, where did you get it from?
Online via a local SA online store. They don't hold stock but import them when you place an order. It was about 40 quid. I don't order from overseas as you end up having to go and pay import duties to receive it.
Ok. I’ve heard about these £15-£20 jobs from China You can get in the U.K. You’re probably wearing some (worse than usual) toxins in those though!
I don't belive a word of that to be honest. To me, that's just clubs putting out mis-information to protect their official merchandise. The price of that official stuff is ridiculous. Greedyness like that creates a black market and these knock off shirts is the result. That's why every football fan has a fire stick these days. People are fed up being fleeced by the likes of Sky so the black market finds a way to satisfy demand.

Oh they’re all bad, but likely the knock-offs will contain worse stuff. Our entire lives have been polluted with god knows how many chemicals and I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s behind not just physical health problems but the mental health problems we see. We saw fish going transgender from it years ago.

If you’re not aware of the dangers and impacts of materials like polyester, in clothing and other parts of life I’d recommend reading up. Ignore climate change, the proliferation of plastics and synthetic chemicals in your food, drink, absorbed through your skin in the clothes you wear etc etc etc the thing you should be worried about, especially if you have kids.
TLDR; wear organic cotton. Don’t wear polyester underwear.

None of that I dispute, but my point is, has any independent body analysed these fake shirts to prove that they're any different to the official shirts in terms of nasty toxins? That's my point. Even some official shirts contain nasties apparently.
if afraid I'm at a time of life where I question eveything I'm being told. My scepticism started when we were told we would not get covid if we were inoculated.

Fair enough. In short I don't know if there is any evidence that knock-offs are worse re nasties, but nasties are generally used because they're cheaper, so I avoid to be safe.

I believe it will be based on the 92-94 kit, the one with the collar and pinstripes which had the Shipstones sponsorhip on it. Will deffo have pinstripes but not sure about the collar.

It would be nice, but im struggling to accept Adidas will put collars on their shirts. They tend to make simple shirts with eye catching designs within the style of the shirt
