Personally I think this game is winable and will push Utd hard.

It’s definitely winnable.
They are effectively a mid table outfit, got players who don’t push themselves to the limit and will give us chances

Above all else we *mustn't* concede early like we did against Arsenal and Man City and have to chase the game. The results against Liverpool and Chelsea away were built on us keeping it tight and the opponents getting frustrated. Keep a clean sheet for an hour and we've a great chance of getting something from this.

I was more confident of a win 20 days ago.

Now I am not so sure.

Be nice not to concede three and for some of our star players to actually start finding the net.

Agreed.

Just 16 goals scored so far this season.

That needs improving on.

We create the chances. We just can't do anything with them. Hope wood confidence isn't shattered after missing against the club he supports

Or to put it another way, 24 players in our squad have scored only 7 goals between them.

I could definitely see Morato starting this one as part of a back 5. United will have 3 forwards and will also push on with their wing backs, especially Amad. Having 3 cb’s and our own wingbacks will help prevent us from being outnumbered. I do think there’s a case for Neco to start as LWB in order to counter Amad cutting inside. I hope both MGW and Anderson start, as that’s when we’re at our best. I’d probably go with:

Sels

Milenkovic Murillo Morato

Aina Dominguez Yates Williams

MGW Anderson
Wood

Precisely this, not sure why the focus keeps coming back to Wood, he is doing his part.

MGW and Elanga, amongst others, need to step the f**k up.

From what I saw of Morato on Wednesday he was quite ponderous and not great technically on the ball, hopefully its just a lack of minutes.
