Yes that was very imporatant.

He does great work in both boxes.

10 goals already this season.

Happy 33rd birthday Chris.

What a way for Woody to mark his birthday by becoming our highest scorer in the Premier League.

Don't think anyone saw that coming after his first few matches.

10 Premier League goals already and he has now achieved that 6 times in his career. Not many can say that.

We need to get him signed up for two years.

Love the birthday gift they gave him, with him as Robin Hood on the mug.

Chris Wood contract: Believe current offer is one more year. Wood, who turned 33 earlier in December, would like two+. Current salary c. £100k p/w - top end of Forest pay bracket. Strong willingness on both sides to do deal #NFFC

2 years makes sense anyway because we can sell him at the end of next season. I'm sure it will happen because he deserves more than a year extension.

I think it'll end up being a year with an apps based clause to extend the further year.

i'm not sure you want to be paying a 35yo £100k unless he's contributing

The risk being that someone else offers him two years without caveat

I am not sure about 2 years on 100K per week.

That is a lot of money for someone who might not be a regular starter next season.

I think we should look beyond the here and now.

Wholly agree. He's having a hell of a season but in 2 years?

definitely has to be 1 year with a second based on apps
