I'd hope to think we are close to getting a few contracts sorted out. I'd expect one or two announcements soon.

MGW, Wood, Aina, CHO. I also think we are probably in a good position to offer Murillo better terms with a 1 year extension.

I did read somewhere he's only on 30k a week which i find staggering if true. 1 year deal, huge pay-rise and protecting our asset at the same time. Hopefully it happens

We shouldn’t be afraid of selling any of our players for profit especially if we can do so at their maximum value. That's now Edu’s job to find the next Murillo and replace with those that are better still.
The big caveat of course is that you can’t sell all your best players at once or you end up in a Wolves situation.

Completely agree.

I am guessing that both Carmo and Morato will also be wanting first team football and both appear capable at this level so we are arguably in a good position now in terms of having an immediate replacement while being able to find the next Murillo.

Elanga left out of the Sweden squad. Hopefully he’ll be motivated to kick on. He hasn’t quite recaptured last season’s form yet. Wonder if the Newcastle links have unsettled him

That's a shame for him but understandable. The last 3 games he has been improving massively and I hope he converts soon to kick on.

Difficult with all the contracts. We won't want all these singing/agent fees on the same seasons PSR.
