I was quiet looking forward to Jota playing.

I think he still could well start.
With JWP being suspended, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Yates, Anderson, MGW, CHO, Jota and Wood as the 6 in front of the back 4 and keeper.

Very excited by that front 6. I'd love to see jota and MGW playing together.

I was at the game, saw the warm up, Sels stopped warming up for a bit, then continued. So it must have been before the game where he picked up a knock.

He originally got injured against Fulham.

He was touch and go for Chelsea.

He had an issue also in the warm up against Chelsea where the physios were assessing him and he was able to play.

Clearly needs a weeks rest and some physio.

Him and MGW will have an extra couple of days too with the Palace match being on the Monday night.

I did notice one kick off or free kick for a long ball that I did wonder if he had a problem Cus he seemed to cut short his motion.

Well Sels for me has come into a difficult situation within the GK dept at the club and has been steady and growing in stature - so much so that Sundays performance for me eclipsed some of Sambas displays(horrific decision to let him go). If he was plying through the pain barrier even more impressive.

We have scouted and purchased a number 2 that on first viewing seems useful so if and when needed I hope he takes his chance. But well done sels!

It’s now 9 weeks since Danilo’s injury, do we know how he is progressing, I’m no medical expert but I think he is probably starting his rehabilitation.

I haven't seen it but apparently he posted a video on Instagram this week and he was still wearing a small protective boot and using one crutch.
