Again.............sadly............for me Miguel saves that penalty.
Would like to see him given a chance.
I could see the game plan from Nuno, and it worked until the incorrect penalty was given. Once you have to go chasing the game against a side like Fulham, you are a mess and they will exploit.
So basically we were undone by an incorrect penalty against us. But..........Sels should have done better.

Was it really such a negative line up?
We started with 2 strikers.
When did that last happen?
Don't forget we were without MGW and Danilo.

We missed MGW
We badly missed Danilo too yesterday IMO.

Fulham didn’t look like scoring apart from the penalty. Also it was accidental. Murillo wasn’t looking at Perreira. If that was a penalty then so was the Elanga one. In fact more so because the player swiped at the ball trying to clear it and caught Anthony. If one is then the other certainly is.
Fulham once having the lead did a Forest on us. Taiwo was a menace and is always a chaos bunny. Pity he doesn’t play well with wood. I assume he is injured. Looks like a whack in the thigh I think.
The line up was interesting but just didn’t work. Bringing on Sosa instead of JWP was a mistake because we lost all manner of control when that happened.
Fulham were professional once ahead. Something that we are good at too.
Probably should have been a draw.
Chicago: Disappointed.

Fulham are a decent side, well coached and in form. We nullified them and whilst not many chances, we had better chances than them. We scored which was narrowly offside. Then the penalty and we're having to chase. If the officials hadn't stitched us up we'd probably be on 12 points from 6 matches. But we get done over by VaR and some people are putting the boot into Nuno. Wrong take.

I get why some have had a little dig at Nuno.
However without MGW and Danilo not to mention Sanagre it was always going to be tough. Fulham are very very strong in the middle of the park so I 'get' what Nuno did.
Like I said before we also had 2 strikers on the pitch along with Anderson and JWP who are supposed to be creative so I am not convinced about Nuno being labeled negative.

We lost a tight game by one subjective ref decison. Fans need to get over it. It happens. If we can say that being the equal of Fulham is our ambition for this season then I'm fine with that. They've been better than we have for 10 years or more.

I have no issue with losing to Fulham, we can't win every game, it was narrow and controversial.
The starting lineup could have done with a winger but the first half didn't cost us the game and we did actually cause some problems in the box (as ugly as it looked).
For me it's the fact that if you put our home games together there is a pattern and it's not a good one.

Why are people getting defensive about Nuno? Some of us thought the way he set up was a mistake. So what it happens, Im sure he learned from it too. Whats the problem of saying it how it is?
By the way, the best team won IMO, stop blaming refs and fine margins, take your garibaldi specs off and look what happened. Again its no problem its the premier league, we will be second best in some games.
