Also I know it’s prevalent across football but there has to be something done about stopping your run up more then once when taking a penno

It's pretty obvious to spot

Without going into the penalty decisions, what was that team selection? No wingers at home, why not sell Elanga if we weren't going to play him, bizarre. Imagine if Cooper had done that, it's ok though because Nunoball is great apparently. Just high quality, high tempo attacking football right?

Just feel all our good work away from home is being undone by our home form. 2 points from wolves, Bournemouth and Fulham ain't a very good return.

I think that with MGW missing we were not very good and seldom looked like getting a result. We can not become a 1 man team.

Imagine if Cooper had done that, it's ok though because Nunoball is great apparently. Just high quality, high tempo attacking football right? The team selection was made to nullify Fulhams style of dominating the centre of the pitch. This was working fine up until the penalty, then Nuno was forced into going wide to instill a bit of pace into our attack. Sadly, when he did that we gave Fulham more space around the centre of the pitch to be more creative. Fortunately, they didnt capitalise on having that extra space to play into but did have more possession. I think today proved just what an asset MGW is. We really missed his drive and creativity today. I have said this before and will restate it, but I just do not see what Dominguez brings to the side. If im being totally honest, I do think it was a penalty....just. If Murillo hadnt pushed him in the back at the same time,I think it wouldve been waved away. However, I do think the Elanga incident was also a penalty. It was almost a carbon copy of the one awarded to Fulham

It was a negative line up, handing a good Fulham side the initiative from the first whistle. Boring game that was heading for 0-0 but for a VAR penalty. Not sure why Nuno was so scared of Fulham on our own pitch though. |
