Brennan Johnson

Apparently Johnson senior was strutting around proudly wearing a Spurs shirt. He notably failed to ever wear a Forest shirt the whole time he was here. Just saying.

He was in the away end with a spurs scarf on which he'll no doubt be ditching for another when he decides Brennan is too big for that team.

I was never a fan of the old man I always thought he was a bell even before his son appeared on the scene. I have a long memory.

Whilst I am an obsessive Forest supporter, if my Son played in Premier league I'd follow him around too I think. (Couldn't wear shirt though). Plus having moved from ManU-Bury -Ipswich-Forest (off top of head plus loans) It's a job and a career first and foremost to them. I don't feel like they have done a Commons or Robinson in any way shape or form.

Have to say my own dealings with David and Alison over last couple of years have been nothing but polite, pleasant and respectful of our club, even when they would have known he was on his way.

No one's criticising him for supporting his lad, who wouldn't? But does he need to show the disrespect of wearing the Spurs scarf against his local side and the club that's done so much for his family?

Taking pelters from Spurs fans again.

Most of them think the same as I thought of BJ.

This comment on a Spuds forum sums up most of their feelings.

.............Ffs keep saying it but olisse or eze are much better players! For extra 10M we could have got one of them. Really is disappointing that we went for BJ but Ange wanted him. I have no idea what he saw would fit into our system. Has no great hold up play, very rarely gets involved in build ups and is just mediocre.............

Continues to ger pelters to the point they want him gone

I feel sorry for the lad. We arguably got the better deal.. at the time I didn't see it that way.. his dad will be livid if he's hearing that in the stands.

I guess we wasn't a bad club after all eh, Johno?

He'll probably be moved on at some point and as we have it won't be with us.

That's what a £50m price tag does. If he'd gone there for £15/20 odd they'd look at him as a young prospect. I saw their game the other night. It seemed to me they weren't utilising his prime asset, his pace. He was just receiving the ball amd playing on.

Ah well! That'd be such a shame wouldn't it? Maybe David doesnt know whats best after all eh?

I get he wants his lad to get as much out of football as he can and get him set up for life financially and, lets be honest, without his sale we wouldve been so much further in the shit with regards PSR, that our points deduction couldve been higher. But the way David went about it was the wrong way IMO. Slating Forest off at times was out of order.

I used to have a lot of time and respect for David. I met him once, when he was playing for Forest and he was the nicest and most humble person. Sadly my admiration for him nowadays has diminished

Mine too Tricks. He couldn't wait to get his lad out of the club.
