The Academy u21's are in action tonight in the Notts Senior County Cup final against Basford Utd at Eastwoods ground. 7.45 KO.
Ive got mixed feelings about this one as my Daughter is a casual physio for the Academy (mainly the kids sides) but is also the physio for Basford.
As a born and bred Basfordian (who exiled into Bulwell for a large chunk of my time in Nottingham), I want to see Basford win. But, as they are playing the Reds academy, my loyalty is divided.

Forest Academy are the new County FA champions after seeing off Basford United 2-0 last night.
Well done to you young Reds.

Are the B team at the same location as the 1st team squad for pre-season?

Mighten properly relegated to the B team now it seems whilst bott and Abbott have been working with the seniors
Also I see Man Utd are laying off a lot of tenured academy coaches having been there 25-30 years I’m sure they’ll have a lot of offers but surely we should see if we can expand our staff?

Reid, Bennett, Morgan and Grabban around the club, all of whom will spell out exactly what it means to play for Forest.

I'm really impressed with Grabban.
Forest were his last proper club in a great career, which ended with promotion. So glad to hear he is back.
Also to have Wesley back is a great boost to reinforcing our identity with players past, present and future.
