Some of our performances recently especially Fulham, Manchester City and Chelsea have been great and the team has been a joy to watch.
Also individual players have improved under Nuno most notably Williams, Murillo, Danilo, Hudson Odi and Wood.
Please let us not forget what he has had to contend with because it is really important, please let us try and see the bigger picture.
The squad was broken and on it's knees when he came in, that was swiftly followed by Afcon and then players coming back injured, we have had all the weird VAR and refereeing decisions and finally a points deduction, lets us not pretend that has not had a huge affect on things because it clearly has.
Yes our points haul could have been better, how defensive displays could have been better but this is not Nunos team and nor are they his defenders.
I think he has earned the right to shape his squad the way he wants it and to have another crack at it next season.
Having said all that EM will decide not me or you so we will have to wait and see but I am 70-30 Nuno in.
All good points. My concern with Nuno even with what he inherited is that we have issues that need correcting before we kick a ball next season. General defending, seeing out games, questionable substitutions and defending set pieces. He has not been able correct these thus far. I think the question only EM can answer is not WILL Nuno correct these areas, but CAN he?

There was an interesting graphic on match of the day last night that showed we had improved (slightly) in pretty much every metric since nuno came in.
There is still plenty of work to do but i hope he is given the opportunity to take us forward.
First the points and then the pints….

?? Understand Nuno Espirito Santo's future at Nottingham Forest is still open after keeping #NFFC in Premier League.
Portuguese manager will discuss with the club soon in order to decide next steps, but there's a chance he could leave Forest.

IMO we need to back him and he is manager next season.
Do we really need more upheaval ?
Is there really anybody available to us who would be a clear upgrade ?

We are going to be fighting to keep the core of our squad together this summer. We don't need all the staff changing too.

Nuno in for me.
Had a very tough hand dealt to him and despite some baffling choices along the way with selections, subs and inability to fix some glaring issues, he kept us up and I say he deserves the summer to build his team.

If it happens, don’t think it will anyway, would be far far better we swap now rather than 10 games into next season when the powers that be decide we should be doing better.
Im Nuno in, think hes done a decent enough job although he still has a lot of work to do.

Who else is out there that is a significant upgrade on Nuno? Potter, Mourinho? Don’t think either are realistic options. I don’t think we can risk someone without Prem experience. Nuno likes a smaller squad, the players are used to his system now and we’re improving. Think we should give him time, though we all know that it’s not always given by those in charge!
