I think we will, PL made a mess of it.

They make a mess of a lot of things but are never accountable for it. I don't see that changing here.

Well Forest will be putting out a strongly worded statement. Likely to see us embroiled in legal battles all summer

I'm not sure that will bother the prem at this stage, more so if we do stay up.

Can't see that happening ( Everton admin ) but if it did somehow the timing would go against us

Let’s hope so.
I’m encouraged to hear that the supporters trust led by Robert Matusiewicz have submitted some common sense reasoning for consideration- RM was very compelling in his analysis on the Garibaldi Red podcast.

I don’t want to count chickens but 2 points back and then a win on Saturday should see us safe; in that scenario Luton would effectively need two wins and a draw and Burnley would have to win all their last 3 games to overtake us.

I can’t see Burnley beating both Newcastle and Spurs but could envisage two home wins for Luton and a point at Wham so this scenario at worst would set us up for a home point required against Chelsea to make sure.

Ah, if only Carlsberg did appeal hearings and results….

I hope they looked at the facts and appreciated that we were not allowed to claim the full amount for COVID and the promotion payments to players and staff that we should have and been entitled to. This would have left us with a breach of around £3m. So the penalty for that is 3 points for the breach and 1 point for a minor breach. With 2 points back for 'assisting' the PL in agreeing to the breach and being helpful, that leaves us with a penalty of 2 points.

We are 7/4 with the bookies for relegation, as soon as that changes or they take it down, announcement is imminent.
Stupid I know but was checking regularly when our original announcement was due, same for Everton.
Betting was suspended for an hour then the news broke.
