Back on track. Yes enough promising moments for sure but need to be sharper at the back. At least we didn’t concede from a set piece!

The Van de Ven one was shortly after a set piece, so we're half improving at least!

Wasn’t van de Ben goal from a set piece- their corners - every single one of them was played short and we didn’t do anything to negate it. We set up the same for every corner and they had several dangerous shots from their routines that exposed our set up.
We survive and we need to really step up this part of our game.
Their third was also jammy but CHO was being very lazy.
Elanga was frustrating today too. So many bad touches. Nico Williams had a tough game too - should have done better for their third but also did well on occasions going forward.
This result was never going to decide where we are in May.
Let’s hope wood and MGW are OK.

On Yates - not nearly good enough today. Too slow - ponderous in possession- lucky not to be carded earlier and then appealing for VAR - however if it’s the other way around we’d get someone sent off. Thought danillo was also lucky with his follow through too. Sangare did OK - him and danillo for wolves or do our fans not give him the chance?
Interesting dilemma for Nuno next week - wolves midfield is their strength- lots of runners.

That's only because they were taking the short for some reason!

Just got back.

So f*****g angry to have pissed away at least a point.

It was clear from their first corner that they weren’t banging balls into the box and we just let them have three on two each time to pass round us.

Absolute basics at defending.

That’s on you Nuno.

Shocking.

Re the punch, Roy Keane's comments about if you take it you should receive it are bollocks and hark back to a game that no longer exists. What is VAR doing if its not asking the ref to look again at incidents such as that? As for the commentators comments about Yates being lucky not to be sent off, what were they watching? More unconscious bias towards a big 6 side.

Yates was lucky. He was doing the square VAR check sign to the ref. The rules say thats a yellow and he could have been off. Ref could have given both players yellows, he chose the sensible option of cut it out guys. Our fanbase is becoming like a bunch of moaning Scousers its pathetic.

Yes User, we did let them have too much space and we sit so deep at times they had all the time in the world to create those overloads. A bit harsh on Nuno but its one aspect of our play we dont seem to have adapted under him

No Salv, the fanbase is simply pointing out that even though the prem has invested millions in a system that has actually changed the game for the worse, decisions are still not being made correctly.

Did you not think that Maddison punched him then? Maybe he was tickling his tummy eh?

Yes he was tickling his tummy. You not seen Ryan do stuff like that? He even said in his own interview his game is to disrupt. I put on the Nuno thread, the whole team needs to grow a pair.

Look I agree VAR is broken, there is also an unconscious bias to big clubs in my opinion but there are 14 other teams that get that bias against them too. We need to work with it, point out the obvious howlers like the Boly sending off. Just moaning at every little decision makes us look like the problem.

Sorry, I dont recall Yates ever being caught punching anyone with a body shot.
