Tottenham - Nottingham Forest

Hey ho. Not disgraced but feel we could have done better especially 2nd half. Got in a good position with them properly rattled but couldn’t keep it up. We seemed so wide open down the flanks on occasion.
Worried about MGWs hamstring. Origi is simply a woeful player.

Onto next week. Lets all not get to down about today. We were always going to get beat today. Ive seen enough from the side these last 2 games to suggest we have some quality.

Yep Wolves, Everton, Chelsea, Sheffield United, Burnley we have to win 3 of those.

Genuinely think 1 win and 4 draws may do it. Everton is a must not lose

Lacking a leader on the pitch again, heads went down to quickly and wrong subs made by Nuno, CHS and Elanga ineffective once we had conceded and when we gained possession just simply gave the ball back to spuds. Just NO fight in this team, who is going to sweat blood for this team to try and keep us up? just cant see it as we have to many "fair weather" players!

I’m more disappointed with that than I thought I would be. We looked good in the first half when we took the game to them, then we gave them too much space and too much respect. Second half we looked exhausted and just gave up. I really hope we can get some points on the board and Everton will hopefully get an additional point deduction tomorrow. We don’t need many more wins, but I don’t want us to leave it as late as we had to last season

Wrong subs? With the game already gone he took off players on a yellow and those carrying injuries. Absolutely correct calls..

Yeah. Not blaming Nuno or the players today to be honest. Spuds are decent and we were away so really not much to expect.

I'm actually pleased that for a solid 20 minutes we absolutely battered them and could have scored 3. Real shame Chris Wood didn't stick his second in. Spuds might just have capitulated if he had.

Oh well, onto wolves at the wfcg!!

Weird one, I thought Spurs were unreal first 15-20 until we scored then the game far more even. Neco and Elanga looked to be the big outlet but whether Spurs tweaked something or Elanga went missing again we just didn't do anything 2nd half.

Thought defensively we did OK... of course you ride you luck against a top attack like Spurs but perhaps Omo at fault for Porro goal. Header to be won. Not sure who should have been pressing VDV on edge of box. Good finish that.

Positives, Sels showed hes a clear upgrade, Aina pace and Yates didn't get sent off despite 13 min yellow.

Thought MGW and then Reyna didn't offer anything but again, that's Ange subs second half

I've just rewound it and rewatched it, looks like a punch to me.

Watched that back, absolutely nothing in it. A bit embarrassing from Yates really.

Are you for real? He got punched, its intention that gets you booked.

VAR can't do bookings

Oh come off it, wasn’t a punch, Maddison basically turned round.

Wonder where we’d be in the table if we had Sels all season?
