It's like saying if we had got rid of Cooper earlier would we still have got hammered at Fulham, lost to Everton, drew with Wolves and lost to Tottenham. Going down the Cooper V Nuno road is not going to help anything or anyone. Nuno is here now and this is his thread.

We’re not allowed similar questions of Nuno? Just checking the rules, don’t want to get banned again!

The Nuno vs Cooper thing is irrelevant now because what’s done is done.
However which tactics would currently have us with more points is relevant. Could we have played a back 5 for the last 7 games, packed the midfield, had 20% possession, admittedly been bored to tears but have more than 7 points on the board? Not sure is my answer. There is another relevant point too in which the players themselves were apparently getting frustrated with the ultra cautious approach. Luton have also showed it doesn’t have to be that way. However we simply have to be tighter at the back.

It is simply not true and it really pisses me off when people insinuate otherwise. Back to Nuno...

Sorry Sniff - you’re right, back to Nuno
I wonder what the big man expected from him? Avoid relegation or more than that?

Too many mistakes have been made this season. Sacking Cooper too late, going over the ffp limits, buying too many Africans, only recently employing a set piece coach. |
