We played a top team tonight but our own fault from silly mistakes. It was a clear foul on Williams but that ref couldn’t wait to blow for them and let everything go against us. Montiel should have stayed with Jesus and Omad should have been quicker to close him after or block the goal. However it is an OG with turner getting half megged and deflecting in.

I agree it was Turners best match so far - he was pretty solid but Matilda then. Montiel for the second really pissed me off - hoof the f****r! Also gibbs white was a bit slow to Saka.

Taiwo - good goal and unlucky not to equalise and Arsenal staff shit themselves after we scored.

Arsenal were a bit toothless until our gifts. We won’t go down by losing to Arsenal. It the Brentford result that really pissed me off.

Positives
- Taiwo is back
- Taiwo scores
- No f@(k ups from Centre backs who were excellent.
- Danilo absolutely superb. I'm now seeing where the Kante comparisons came from before we signed him.
-No more games against Arsenal this season.

Negatives
- Understandably, very defensively set up, but it was painful watching how easily we gave the ball away.
- Yet again we're f@(King talking about individual errors. I am sick of them. Not just the keeper, the first goal came from losing ball, then Williams may have been fouled, but we get caught out by a quick throw.
- Second season syndrome is real.

We are in real deep trouble right now but with the cavalry coming our way. 10 point deduction would probably relegate us I think.

Agree it was probably Turner’s best game apart from the first goal. That in itself wasn’t entirely his fault either, Jesus left to waltz through. He is quality but we had done a job until then and switched off.

Just got home, that match has drained the life out of me.

The support has just dissipated from what it was last season, reminiscent of the Championship pre-Cooper.

The soul of the club has gone.

The atmosphere that kept us up last year has totally gone. Barely a squeak from the home fans.

I didn’t think ithe atmosphere was that bad. Arsenal sideways crab football first half sent everyone to sleep - they were well drilled as arteta wasn’t going to lose here again! UNO also acknowledged that the team need to give the fans something to go off - think he was a bit frustrated with them to be honest.

Taiwo was really good - they were shit scared of him and gave us something to play off. Also, after our goal they really shit themselves on their bench.

If we get a points deduction we will need a miracle Even without a deduction we are going to be there abouts. Individual mistakes costing goals is the story of our season and if we don’t stop them now it will be the story of our relegation

Let's not lose heart over last night's result. With where we are right night, after a brutal month for the available players, a game against Arsenal was the last thing we needed. Our approach was classic Cooperball, but without the outlet (Elanga,
a fit Taiwo/Wood) to be able to spring on the counter. Midfield was soft with Mangala ineffective (understandably) and Williams doing his best but getting no help. Last night was just a game too far. Id say we can be thankful it was against Arsenal as I think we would've struggled to get a result against any more beatable team anyway. So its a difficult game out the way and we move on.

Being in the PL and losing 1-2 to Arsenal is hardly a crime is it.

Not long go we were losing 1-2 against Barnsley in front of 16,000 fans.
