Nottingham Forest - Manchester United
Just an excellent performance, Yates, Elanga, Danilo, Montiel all excellent. We are building something here.
Man Uts were proper shit though weren’t they? I think that is the first time Ive actually seen us beat them.

Enjoyed Dominguez higher up on the left worked hard and put a shift in maybe nuno sees a future for him there

He played in that position in Argentina. Gives a decent balance actually - in our late 80s team we used Parker as the left midfielder with an out and out winger on the opposite flank.

Got a sh1tty virus but dragged myself down to WFCG for some general anaesthetic and football. Also watched full game when I got back plus MOTD- its been the best medicine.

Positives
- 3 points against the team who (with VAR help) rinsed us last season and robbed us on my birthday in August.
- Excellent performances all over pitch.
- Niakhate had another of his really good games.
- Dominated midfield
- MGW finally found his shooting boots to cap off another top notch display (floodgates opened? Here's hoping).
- Yates was a smidgeon behind MGW for man of the match.
- All full backs absolute on it. Montiel is possibly World Class. Genuinely think he could become a legend now he's settled.
- Could have mentioned every outfield player for their contribution today.
- The character to concede such a sh1t goal having worked so hard to get ahead, to then go again and get ahead 4mins and 37 seconds later (think that's what commentator said) was brilliant.
- atmosphere was back at last.

Negatives
- Turners kicking was on another level - below that is.  Has to stop.
- I think I made my virus worse....

So happy, great 6 points to finish the year. Happy new year.

Excellent performance, now with a new proper Elite coach we start to look like a real Premier League side.

If only EM had pulled the trigger earlier, but it is what it is.

Elanga is a far superior player to Johnson, again glad we made the swap and took a bundle of cash.

Montiel - discarded by Cooper for yet another strange reason (coaching staff of Cooper useless?) now back and playing like a star.

Its all so positive, lets hope Nuno now has time to really get them flying before we smash Brentford and start moving up this league..........

That was an enjoyable watch. Elanga and Dominguez looked dangerous. Montiel awesome down back. Niakhate solid as a rock. I though Aina made some incisive runs. That goal from MGW was class.

Danilo makes me hold my breath sometimes, but he also makes things happen. Very busy and some great passes.

I see Nuno doesn't have anything bad to say about Turner. Looks like he is backing him in going forward. We shall see.

You can see the confidence building.........Nuno has told them, they are good, they are creative, hold the ball, pass the ball....no fear...........

And they are responding to it........well..........apart from fear when it goes to Turner..........

Will be interesting, Nuno of course will back Turner verbally..........but I think Turner will not be in goal for the FA cup game, and that game is the chance for Ody to shine and maybe to take the shirt as keeper against Brentford later.

I think it’s safe to say if the score had been the otherway around, it would not been 10

Nuno's reaction to it though was so calm.

He just looked at the board and he didn't even flinch.

Nuno is shaping the team, he also significantly increased ball possession during the match, this allows the team to rationalize energy and it was seen in the counterattack that leads to Gibbs-White's goal, a great performance from all the individuals, you could see that they played as a team.
