Hopefully they will be over confident knobs on Saturday and we can pick them off. Something particularly unpalatable about this current crop of man utd players. Perhaps it's their self entitled nature or that Bruno Fernandes is a massive c**k womble.
Anyway, hopefully it should be a great atmosphere although if results go badly, we could be in the bottom 3 come kick off.

Have just worked out that, if you swap out last season's relegated teams for this season's promoted ones, our points tally for the comparative matches after having played every other team is exactly the same as last season - 17.
We did worse vs. Everton and Brighton at home and only drew vs. Burnley and Luton at home whereas we beat all three teams that went down. But we gained points at Chelsea away (win vs. draw last season), Newcastle away (win vs, defeat), Wolves away (draw vs. defeat) and Villa at home (win vs. draw). All our other results so far have been the same, though goal difference is significantly better. This means we've got some big results from last season to try and match (home wins vs. Arsenal and Liverpool) but away defeats vs. Leeds and Leicester (so looking at two of Sheffield United, Burnley and Luton away) to improve on.

Everton leading vs. Man City. Palace drawing with Chelsea and Brentford a losing at home to Wolves. Wonder if Brentford will get drawn into trouble this year. Hopefully.

Man City equalised and Chelsea now leading Palace. Better for us.

City Pen to make it 1.2. Good for us. Palace result good for us and Brentford having a wobble.

3-1 Man City now. Absolute beauty from Bernardo Silva.

Brentford 1 win in 7 and Palace 1 win in 10
Didn’t realise they were on them bad runs It’s Brentford v Palace at the weekend so that’s gonna be interesting

Least Chelsea are giving the lads nothing to worry about later, not that they’d be preparing for the match that way anyway. But having that extra bit of freedom will be nice. Just a shame it’s pulls Chelsea away from the mire

I'm just glad, no matter what happens in today's game we don't start 2024 in the bottom three.

Results couldn't have gone any better

Being greedy a Palace and Brentford draw wouldn't have been bad as they'd both have dropped points then, but the other results were all perfect.
