All this speculation on Coopers future surely isn't doing anyone any good and I also assume the big man isn't shy on pulling the trigger if needed and getting rid of him which might suggest Cooper has been given a bit of a reprieve and a few more games to improve things. My honest opinion is we need fresh ideas as whatever is happening isn't working and things need to change sooner rather than later and preferably before the winter transfer window. Also for the record I think Cooper is a good coach but unfortunately is a one trick pony but there again he got us promoted and I believe he was not the long term manger to get us to the heights EM wants us to get to.

Stayed there for 4 years. Evangelos likes him surely to last that long

The more I look into Lopetegui the more I like to be honest. Don't get me wrong I would rather coops turns it around and he keeps being able to built with us. However that said I couldn't think of a better person to come in and change things around. Might even do a piece about him tomorrow if I get time. But it's how the central midfielders 3 move in his preferred 4-3-3 formation that has got my attention as takes the way Emery has Villa moving even further.

I still think this is the end game with my head. With my heart I want us to beat spurs Newcastle and Man U with coops.

If Glasner was to be the next manager, If Syrianos is still working for us, They could both strike a good partnership as they have both worked in the Bundesliga, Maybe would lead to us going back down the Bundesliga route of signings, Taiwo been great but injury prone, Niakhate been decent when he’s played and Mangala has really settled in the Prem now.

I’d love Coops to turn it around as I think we looked good for the first 10 games - really stepped up performance wise

But it’s gone flat

Maybe a change before it goes bad would be best.

He should be able to leave on a high. He’s a hero for what he’s done

Warning though, it’ll never feel like this again. Cooper was different . Even if we start winning, it won’t be as good

Well the mendes link with nuno it seems to be. I for one are not ecstatic with this if true. There are worse candidates though and we do need some players!
