There are other stats too such as expected goals prevented, not sure how much they mean but Turner comes out lower mid table, Ody near the bottom of PL keepers. Make of it what you will.

Ah the good old stats.

So seeing as you have used stats to try to make your point (I prefer my eyes).

What do the PL stats say about our coach who is supposedly so great?

What a very odd take.
I made a factual post about goalkeepers.

Indeed, I think it's right that Turner is a bloody good shot stopper, always has been. He's just not a footballer.

I humbly suggest Sniff can be too sensitive about any Greek comments.

Let’s not go down the rabbit hole- the bottom line is neither are probably up to the level we would hope for.

Vlach may improve, but imho is still a step down from Navas who was a step down from Henderson who was a step down from Samba.

God I miss the mad Frenchman

No it's not that mate. I am not Greek and to be honest I find many Greeks to be complete arseholes.

I just defend people who I think have done a very good job like EM for example or people who I think are being unfairly criticised like Vlachodimos whether they are Greeks, Turks, Albanians or Serbs, it doesn't matter to me.

I can only go off what I've seen and to be honest neither GK feel me with security. Turner can't kick a ball, has weak wrists and can't cover the goal. Vlachodimos has no presence in the box, is very flat footed and lacks bravery. Right now GK is a problem area for us. I think it comes from us not knowing who our number one is and both worried about making errors.

By the way, Odysseas was born and grew up in Germany and was signed to VfB Stuttgart from a young age where he stayed until he was 22. He had only 2 years in Greece before joining Benfica for whom he made over 200 appearances.
He is about as greek as some Tesco own brand Feta cheese.

Or that dodgy Greek yogurt from Aldi.

We've had the upgrade/downgrade debate all season and regardless to if you choose Turner or Oddy the reality is at this stage you'd rather have neither. Massive downgrade on Navas and Hendo. Not the only position we downgraded in the summer but I'll keep it relevant.

15/20 odd million in the summer. Will be interesting to see if they stick or twist in January. The lack of stability also isn't helpful. As someone mentioned above Oddy may have not had a fair chance yet and those stats are controlled by the Fulham game. How many goals was he at fault for?

Henderson starts for Palace

First oddy game he kept a clean sheet, the Villa game. Something definitely happened with the whole squad after that. Too many billy big bollocks thinking it was a sign we’d piss the leagues bigger teams and deciding to take it too easy?

Get Vlachodimos back in and leave him there this time.

He has not made any glaring errors and should never have been dropped.
