The better players.........maybe not happy with the tactics and training.
The lower level players......happy with their chance in the prem.
What we saw yesterday was the lower level players happy to take their chances.
What happens next maybe that EM is worried if he makes the change he not only upsets a lot of the happy clappers but also the lower level players who may well know if an Elite manager comes in, they are done and finished.
Which may mean we have to play the relegation game again and EM makes the change in December, or the summer.........until then.....no change.
Whilst I wouldn’t phrase the above in the same way and resent being called a happy clapper I do agree with a number of points above.
The lower level players taking their chance, yep, but it says something for the attitude of the so called better players.
Whether Cooper is the man now I honestly don’t know but somebody has to work with the squad and it’s difficult to see how the players who seemed to have downed tools and were rightly dropped yesterday will respond. Not happy with tactics and training? All your posts have suggested we just need a coach that shouts at them more? Which I think is rubbish but do agree Coopers back room team are not up to the task.
Elite level manager next? Lets see, think you may be disappointed. Not sure how you will explain it either if Cooper is so limited if he goes to Palace and is successful.
Final point and this may surprise some of you, I think its time for Cooper to go now, ideally by mutual agreement. For the simple reason I think we will be in a cycle were he to stay of bad runs, pressure builds for change, a few last gasp results , repeat. Think we need certainty.
Why do you think we'd get certainty under a new manager? It'd just be the same exact cycle because the prem is bloody hard and you sometimes play a bunch of good teams in a row. Only difference a new manager wouldn't have the protection of fans like Cooper does.

If Cooper can get at least 6pts from next 4 games than he gets the January Window for me, Let’s be real we do miss having a striker.

Oh absolutely but it will make the instant gratification bunch happy.
My point is if Cooper continues we will literally be going game to game, win he survives, lose and the Cooper Out brigade will be back. Its just not sustainable and will never give the team any breathing space. At least the next poor sap probably gets the rest of the season unless its a total disaster.

The fact is that including Burnley in the League Cup we have won 3 games out of 17 this season and one of them was a last minute winner against Sheffield United.
It doesn't matter which manager it is, it could be Brian Clough, Pep Guardiola or Alex Ferguson but the fact is that if you have won 3 games out of 17 then you are rightly going to have your position questioned.
It's as simple as that.

I am not sure mate because there is nothing coming out from EM's entourage at all, absolutely nothing.

I think that EM wants a clear upgrade on Steve (in his own mind) and if he can't get that upgrade then he is sticking until he can. I think he wants a big name (once again in his mind) and I think that is where we now are. That is just my opinion because like I said there is nothing coming out from EM or his entourage.

Hard to seen where those 6pts come from though tbh. Spurs in bad form, you know how that ends. Bournemouth our bogey team, Newcastle then Man U. I hope to hope we get 6pts from those games but tough ask.

Sound mate, bigger than Lopetegui or Martins?

I think Lopetegui might be big enough but I see he is now being linked with Manchester United. I think he wants a bigger name than Martins though.

That’s fine to be ambitious does a big name want to come to us? Lower mid table prem club in its 2nd season. Same as with players the big boys want the big clubs.
Then Im not having a go and Sniffer will probably leap to his defence but Marinakis isn’t the most forgiving and straightforward employer to deal with. You know how often he presses the trigger at Olympiacos, 5th manager in 16 months if I am correct? Yes I know he has kept faith with Cooper but he has actively looked for alternatives 3 time in little over a year now, he openly said he would have swapped in April if there was someone suitable. Lets say there was a choice in clubs to manage between Palace and Forest, which one looks the option with the most stable job prospects?

I think the palace interest may be stopping us sacking him as well. Sack him and lose out on compo
