I agree that cooper is the right fit. My heart says we should keep him. We've been burnt before by thinking the grass is greener
My brain though tells me this isn't working. I said tonight's line up felt like a last roll of the dice and it backfired. We all know that it is all about player power and for some reason they've seem to have given up and I don't know how you bounce back. The Leicester defeat last season felt different - despite the hammering, it still felt he had the players on side and the nucleus of the promotion squad were still there. Now it's essentially just Yates and Worrall and neither are first choice. Even from last season, there are few who still start. There just doesn't appear to be anything left in the tank and I don't see what he does to turn it around

Obviously Lopetegui’s name has come up a lot. I agree with others on the forum who have said that our squad is better suited to a 5 at the back formation, which Lopetegui doesn’t play. Oliver Glasner, whose name was circulating a week or so ago does play in that system. Ultimately, only Marinakis will decide and we don’t really know what his criteria will be. Maybe he’ll go for the biggest name available at the moment, or maybe he’ll go for a more left field manager. Personally I think he’ll want a big name rather than prioritising the style of football

Nixon could be referring to Fernando Santos who I first mentioned on here a few years back as being someone that EM would like but he was managing the Portuguese national team at the time. However I think that ship has sailed now because he is 69 years old although Bielsa is only a few months younger.

Sniffer you mentioned a manager who had won the Copa Libertadores a little while ago but I can’t recall his name. Is he still of interest? Can you remind me his name?
