When was the last time we had a comfortable victory where we controllwd the game for the majority and never looked like we would not win. I cant remember a performance like that. It was deep into last season probably. We struggled againat gash Sheffield, should have lost v Burnley. Luton gave us a two goal lead and we couldnt win.
All we're good at is the Cooper low block, backs to the wall type set up and even then it needs Taiwo in there to hold the ball up. In every other type of game we're very very poor.

I think your right time to go back to wing backs if we are going to play a low block.

Toffolo is starting at LB, Sangare so far is bang average, CHO, Wood, Origi all clearly not great. MGW has been a huge disappointment this year. We just don't have many players that really look good right now.
Who in our first team currently gets into the Wolves, Fulham or Palace team for example? Murillo and Elanga maybe?
You can debate whose fault it is but the fact is our team is bang average and we're 100% in a relegation battle.
And what input did the manager have into these signings... is it all the squads fault or can we not point the finger at set up and tactics?
I think we are under performing and have made my feelings known previously about Cooper.

Ive felt for a few weeks now that we're on the slide. Player's arent performing, we're being rocked with injuries. The back 4 is being chopped and changed every week. We're conceding goals (Everton missed a few chances 1st half today). Our season is sliding away and in any normal season we'd be in the bottom 3 now.

It's hard to argue that performance wasn't an underperformance. I maintain as I have from the start that our squad is not great, Taiwo is just so important
The main issues right now. Ball security in midfield, no Taiwo, MGW has taken a massive step back.
I doubt Cooper has much impact on transfers however he's not getting the best out of MGW right now. His shooting is poor but he should be playing centrally.

Gibbs-White is obviously playing out of his best position. It all feels a bit like trying to make it work, so I do have some sympathy with him. Some of the criticism of him is harsh. He’s giving 100% trying to make it work.

Sky sports roundup are all in complete agreement we should have had a pen. I think if we'd gone ahead, we win. But..... doesn't excuse the performance

He was a key part of our threat last season and now has been shoved out to the right hand side. He's a peripheral player for us now.

I dont think many people are criticising his work rate are they? Its his performance and the fact he's making poor choices and poor execution. Feels like he's got worse than last year, he looked best last year playing centrally though so perhaps this is the issue.

Yep spot on, probably should've had a pen, likely would've won but doesn't really excuse how we played.
Everton were also terrible as well it should be noted, which doesn't say a lot for us.
