Hard to tell as he had a lot of loan spells. The two seasons before he joined us he played 21 and 31 league matches respectively.
I don't think we helped ourselves much by not taking him off sooner away at Southampton last season.

It gets worse:
Steve Cooper on injuries. 'Not the best news during the international break...' Murillo and Danilo both suffered setbacks at West Ham, while Awoniyi has gone under the knife to remedy a problematic groin issue that will keep him out for months.

Should of let him get back up to full fitness.. we rushed him, like we did Niakhate last season, feel sorry for cooper as we rely on taiwo for how we play. Going to be tough to win games without the big lad. Hopefully origi can step up now

Coopers 4 months means Taiwo will be starting against Everton next week.

I really don’t think so.

It happens.
Next man up.
Wood and Origi and we crack on.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

Really bad news, need to get a few results to keep our head above water until January.
Wood can never last 90 minutes. Need Origi to show something, pretty well any contribution would be an improvement on what he has showed to date.
Is CHO fit yet?

Genuine question to you.
Do you honestly think there is a side in the Premier League with a weaker looking forward options than Wood and Origi?
Sheff Utd, possibly. Think even Luton have better options right now.

I know that I am probably the only one but I think Wood has looked fairly decent this season, in fact I think he's looked just as good as Taiwo who does some great things but also at times looks like Fashanu on ice.

There's no much between Wood and Taiwo in the box it's the link up and hold up play around the pitch we miss.

Maybe the Everton deduction was a factor in us deciding the pull the trigger instead of managing it.
I know it was against a stubborn Luton but wood showed what he can do with the right assistance, he won’t last more then 70 minutes though so we’re gonna have to be smart about this.
As most are saying, it’s a team game time for those to step up and prove their worth
