Thought he got the balance bang on today. Took the game sufficiently to Villa but kept it solid too. I dont like the way he shuts up shop in the 2nd half of the 2nd half but it worked today so fair enough and it was against a decent team so understandable amd acceptable. Its when he does it at home v Burnley amd Luton when I have an issue.

The start of Percy’s write up
“There have been many tactical masterclasses in Aston Villa matches this season, but this time it was the manager in the technical area next to Unai Emery who provided it. Steve Cooper has secured a number of memorable victories at the City Ground since Nottingham Forest’s return to the top division and his players delivered the game-plan impressively as Emery’s high defensive line was frequently exposed.”

Low block second half was class, glad to have it back. Going to make so much difference going into the next International break with the win and getting some players back.
A point at west ham next week would be brilliant.

Absolutely he should. Deserved that win today. Every time questions have been hanging over his head he's delivered. The players must really believe in him to do it for him. Players can easily get you the sack but to a man they were absolutely fantastic today.

Well done Steve you deserve credit and a pat on the back for yesterday and also for admitting to your mistakes against Luton which people chose to over look.
No matter what some might think we all want Nottingham Forest winning football matches and if they are doing that then that means our manager is doing a good job too.
Panic on the streets of London
High player turnover is something we are accustomed to at Forest, and with that you need a certain type of coach who can harness a togetherness and team spirit, and mould a team on the training ground.
IMO Coops is absolutely spot on with that, he is now on version 3.0 in his short tenure at the club. How he manages to get a large turnover each window and some how make the team spirit as he does, is a very special talent. We should never take for granted how good Coops is at this

When he goes it will never be this good. We might progress and get higher up the table, but it’ll never feel this special or United. He’s a special manager
