What's hurt Cooper this season is the poor performances at home against teams we should be beating. Last minute goal v Sheffield, lucky to get the draw v Burnley and not managing to beat Luton even with a two goal start. Those clubs are getting spanked by pretty much everyone else in the league. They're 3 of the easiest games we could have asked for and yet we struggled. Ive sensed for a few weeks now that we're on the slide.

The injuries are a b*****d as CHO has real quality and ball carrying ability that we currently lack. Origi for me has been a waste - looks unfit and not really up for it from his minutes so far. Taiwo is made of biscuits. Elanga is a bit raw but has been decent. We have many players not contributing at the moment.
Cooper has his hands tied a bit at the moment. He needs another 10 games and more players available- he’s earned that.
CHO spending more time injured than fit, and Origi not being up to scratch were totally predictable.

1. He didn’t do well at Wolves. He inherited an excellent squad which was underachieving and got them to 13th. Wolves shed most of their biggest names in the summer and appointed ONeil who currently has them 12th.
2. He is a vile individual with despicable thuggish tactics which he instils in his team. Check out his disciplinary record last season, Wolves are the worst in the league by some distance.
Above any manager I can think of, I do not ever what to see Lopetegui and his “security staff” ever tarnish the name of Nottingham Forest.
I'm not sure I agree with you entirely, a 37% win rate is pretty decent in a league that you are unfamiliar with, the wolves fan base had a total meltdown when he left.
And 2 that's not who I want if Steve goes I'm just saying it will be him if Cooper does leave and he is still out of work.

Wasn’t meaning to imply you wanted him, the fact he is available and apparently still local worries me greatly though.
As to your stats, try this alternative one:
For those moaning about lack of entertainment and attacking intent under Cooper, Wolves scored only 31 goals in the whole of last season. That was the lowest in the Premier League. Indeed it was equal lowest of all 92 league clubs.
As for their fans having a meltdown I believe that was more because of their summer fire sale. By the way Lopetegui couldn’t wait to jump ship when details of that emerged.
He is a Poundland version of Mourinho only without the charisma. Would genuinely prefer Warnock in charge.

Like I said yesterday I don't care if our manager is Steve Cooper, Alice Cooper or Tommy Cooper.
I just want this football club to be winning football matches and climbing the table. If Steve can deliver that then great, over to you Steve.

Its a fair comment Sniff and Im not picking a fight. But just yesterday you and several others were moaning about lack of entertainment and attacking intent which implies there is more to it than simply getting some points on the board.
Whilst I am not naive enough to think results are not the top priority the Forest of Brian Clough most of us grew up with also stood for a certain style aligned to values of respect and fair play.
That means I am fundamentally opposed to a manager whose methods appear to be cheating, negativity and cynicism.
So that means whether that mangers name is Guardiola or Lopetigui if that is the way they get results I would honestly prefer someone else.
We currently have a manager in Cooper of whom we are all proud to represent NFFC and I hope he gets some results to keep him here for years to come.

Except for when Wolves visited the CG last season can you give us a rundown of Lopetigui's cheating, negativity and cynicism.
We are talking about a bloke who has most recently managed the Spanish national team, Real Madrid, Sevilla and Wolves.

So in 403 games as a manager he's been booked a handful of times, so what?
Steve got a yellow card at Liverpool on Sunday by the way.
Personally I love a bit of passion on the touchline.
Pep and Arketa the best two managers in the league have it in abundance.

He has history Sniffer and lots of it. There is a difference between showing passion (eg Pep) and being an argumentative whining prick ( Warnock, Lopetegui)
Worst disciplinary record in the PL.
Lowest scorers in the PL and across all 92 league clubs.
You choose. I will leave it there.
