Nottingham Forest - Luton Town
Can’t be bothered to read the previous pages but I can guess what’s been said as I felt the same emotions.

Now, after taking a breather, I think this game in 90 minutes absolutely sums up where we are as a team.

-We are still evolving;
-We won’t get relegated;
-We now have a decent mid table starting eleven, but
-We still need to shed some players who aren’t quite good enough to maintain that level or provide a real difference off the bench;
-specifically we need a top drawer striker who can play week in week out.

we have played Man city, Man utd, Chelsea and Arsenal away

What a shit day. Cricket absolutely shocking this morning. Forest throwing away a 2 0 lead against fecking Luton and the fecking saffas absolutely undeservedly beating us in the rugby in the last minute when I expected nothing. Absolutely gutted tonight.

My PoV for the little it's worth.

The only sub we really needed was Yates for Sangare. Elanga had created two goals for Wood - leave them both on. Elanga’s pace in the last 10mins = invaluable. Dominguez should have stayed on. For the defence why fix what ain’t broke?

But the key factor for me going into the endgame was the crowd. Flat. Quiet. Entitled. Even booing at the end. We’ve heard the players state how much we helped them last season. We need to rediscover that underdog spirit as supporters and start willing us to win at home again.

Good night.

I think criticism is needed.

But first.........Aurier is at fault for the first goal.....stand up man and clear the ball. That was pathetic bouncing over you kneeling down on the floor trying to head it.

Second........Worrall.....that was awful for the 2nd goal.

Cooper still too defensive..........there was no need to take off Dominguez. There was no need to take off Elanga.

With Santos and Brandon on the bench - start subbing MGW......... if you had Santos on and MGW off, with Elanga there as well we have outlets to attack..........make them defend.

Instead we simply revert back to as many defenders on the pitch as possible and then defending like clowns and conceding.

As for the atmosphere........this is what happens now.........before we were underdogs, but now many people EXPECT results and points and so what was solid home support last seasons turns into a load of moaners if we are not beating every bottom half team.

There are no easy games in the PL.

Today was lost due to two crazy poor defenders actions and poor substitutions by the manager. But, we did not lose so its another point towards safety.

For me it was quite the opposite, the draw with Luton was the only action of the day to leave me spitting. The Springboks decimating the English scrum in the last 15 minutes was pure joy.  (I've lived in SA for 50 years, my blood is green).

Solid insight. The energy of the two young subs in an open game could have kept them back.

I feel like Kouyate has become Cooper's new Ayew.

Still really annoyed. That was a game we should be winning and although there are no easy games, that was probably the easiest game on paper. And we had it won but for complacency in the final ten. Just making those subs sends the message to everyone that this one is won.

Now if we could win at Anfield then my mood will brighten.

So bringing on 2 subs with precisely zero PL experience between them would have been a better idea?

If Cooper had done so, with probably the same outcome, you would have slaughtered him for not bringing on some experienced players to see the game out.

Ha, imagine if Cooper brings on Santos and Aguilera instead of Yates and Kouyate and the same happens, he'd have been slaughtered even more.

But he didn't.

We just concentrate on the facts of what actually happened not fantasise about what might have happened.
