for an alleged £22m which is stunning business for Everton.

Means £8m outlay on striker they desperately needed.

They hoping to do an us? They’re on 0 at the mo one game in hand against also promoted Luton which they may or may not have won, they have to fit that in somewhere have an extra cup game to contend with. They’re also on -5 goal difference already.

Even we didn’t do a deal that bad last season

Come on bit harsh, they've played Man City and Villa so far and had a game against Luton postponed.

Looking at some of these prices we’ve done brilliantly with some of ours- elanga for 15 for example looks very good business. CHO for <8m negates the potential v injury impact somewhat. Maybe less dynamic but he was always a skilful and intelligent footballer…

If you want a good laugh, have a read of Brentford fans views of us, and Brennan after he chose Spurs over the Mighty Bees

What a truly strange club.

The amusing thing for me is they went from Brennan, to Bakayoko to Neil Maupay. That eventually is what will see them back at their true level. Players turning them down. Once it drys up and the quality they have want out. Down you go.

i really and sincerely hope we tear them a new arse when we play them this season (and all coming seasons thereafter).

They dont seem to be able to accept that Forest kept turning their bids down because their bids were too low. I mean what part of Forest will only entertain bids around £50M, not £40M but £50M, do they fail to understand. They also fail to grasp that Brennan wanted to  leave his boyhood, hometown club to go to a bigger club, not to a ground that's capacity is smaller than Notts County's Meadow Lane and where the fans generate noise by using plastic clappers!!!

I said a few weeks ago that 50M pound footballer's don't move to smaller clubs they only move to bigger ones.

Not sure what part of that Brentford fans don't understand.
