Not all players work out.  And Dias will not have draped himself in glory after Norwich.  Bringing unnecessary pressure on the manager (who put him on instead of Os' who would have held the ball up better...) and got himself thrown out of the starting 18 v Millwall.

Yeah I wasn’t suggesting they’d wriggle out, I was suggesting they might offer us some money to cancel it if that’s even legal. Essentially sell him back for a few mil maybe.

Ben Brereton has completed his permanent move to Blackburn Rovers from Nottingham Forest.

The 19-year-old moved to Ewood Park on loan in August with the deal now a permanent one after the transfer window opened again earlier this week.

He has put his signature on a three-and-a-half year deal at the former Premier League winners.

The transfer is thought to be worth up to £7m for the Reds with various additional add-on clauses inserted into the deal, including a sell-on clause should Brereton move on from Rovers.

I wish him well, he is still only 19 for goodness sake, plenty time to develop. He has only been used as sub so I dont read much into his preformances for them. Not sure he will ever be a top player, I suspect similar Bamfords ability level ie decent Championship striker.
