Cooper has said that Aguilera will stay with Forest until January at least (i.e. not go out on loan).

Think that's a good move. He'll have the B-team league and Papa John's to play in as well as maybe pushing for the 1st team squad.

If BJ goes he could be instrumental in being a spark, make something happen player, much sooner than we thought!

Been thinking about the Shelvey situation.

Is it right that he is still bomb squaded? We have invested £5m in him and are paying him £80k/wk to sit on his sofa watching his own highlight reels. Not condoning his actions last season but he is a player with considerable PL experience, offers qualities we don’t have and goodness know we are lacking right now.

Surely pre season was an opportunity to wipe the slate clean. There was a story how his play may have been detrimental to MGW and others. Again isnt pre season the time to try that get that right rather than discard it?

Im not his greatest fan myself just think there is an element of cutting off nose to spite face here. Even if we are trying to get him moved on his value isn’t going to increase kicking around vs Kidderminster reserves. Is it Cooper’s decision not to involve him or is it higher up than that?

I agree.  He should at least be available to come on as a sub when we need to push for a goal (like when we were down 2-0 to Arsenal - yes, I'm aware that he's not a scorer, but he does have a talent for moving the ball up to forwards in useful positions, and he's a deft taker of free kicks).  Because we don't have the budget of other teams to go out and sign the best of the best at every position, we have some tools in our toolbox which have limited but useful purposes.  It's time we started making best use of what we have instead of constantly looking for the answer in another speculative signing.

I would be hesitant to put Biancone into the 25 until he has proven he is fully match fit. 

Might it be better if he were to go out on loan until January and then we reassess?

No it doesn’t but no charges have been brought. The case is active and they are still gathering evidence.

The Squad is still extremely bloated and ideally needs slim lining as Cooper wants , Lots of departures still need to happen and hopefully bring in some money to balance books for FFP .
