Aurier put in two fantastic balls and Wood and Awoniyi finished them with class.

There were a few dire moments.

There was more too. That cross in the first half that was a certain goal if the defender hadn't just got a nick on it.

Awoniyi eh? what a player, his disallowed goal was taken really well also. Turner was pretty good and saved a certain goal when Worral and Mckenna didn't speak to each other. Elangas pace will cause trouble to many a defense. Yates played well when he came on. MGW trying to hard.

And he looked much fitter and leaner than last season, will hopefully be good for 8-10 important goals this year

Well done lads.
Had a quick flick through the thread, I don’t know what people expect, the one thing you knew about Sheff Utd is that they will come at you, work and press hard. Cooper admitted in his interview we let them into the game too much 2nd half but its very very difficult to dominate a game for 90 mins.

Thought we were comfortably the best team overall. Yes we could have conceded to a better striker than Traore but great save Turner other than that shut them out. Tactics overall were good, subs were all effective and made at the right time Elanga good cameo again, absolutely delighted for Wood, he is a decent player and an excellent pro, as has been said we need to back him now.

I hope Cooper tells Gibbs White to cut out the show boating and play football because that was just embarrassing, and can they find someone else within the team to take the corner kicks, because everyone he took was shite

A win is a win!

Positives
- Serge back to form, played really well and bagged 2 assists!!
- Taiwo continues his amazing scoring run.
- Wood with an incredible header giving a taste of what could happen with the right service.
- Yates came on and within 3 minutes changed the game in our favour doing the simple stuff.
- Elanga looked very dangerous again.
- Turners save was huge.
- After a poor start to 2nd half and conceding we got ourselves back into it.
- 3 points against those horrible to$$ers. (2 separate groups of SU tried to start a fight as we walked to game)

Negatives
- I know those will not be popular but that's 2 games now where MGW has given away the ball far too much and his show pony tricks mostly failed (bar that great 1st half turn away from 2). I'm sick of reading peoples criticism of other players not retaining possession, but MGW (potentially a terrific player) gets a free pass. He needs to improve his shooting and ball retention, then he will be an England player and we will win more games.His setpieces were much better though.
- I hope Scott McKenna puts tonight behind him quickly. He may not be the best CB in the world  but he's alot better than he showed tonight.
- The way we came out 2nd half was terrible. We have to start better than that.

Overall a decent effort. The entitlement of some acting like they would roll over was amazing. Hamer looks a decent player and they will have believed they could get something tonight. Giving the ball away will always invite teams onto you more than any "tactics". Onto Old Trafford hopefully Yates starts.

The performance again CONFIRMS we are weak in the middle when we play Johnson, which is why we looked far better end of last season using him as an impact sub.

Taiwo was excellent, his hold up play we will miss when he is not available. Hopefully by then our midfield will be stronger.

Danillo struggled today, I think he is being coached to be a CDM......and was always looking to pass backwards most of the time. Hopefully when we get a proper CDM in, he will be allowed forwards again.

Yates energy changed things in the middle when he came on..........

Overall better use of subs by Cooper, he looks to be learning about the PL now...........

We have a good chance of being a mid table side this season.........
