We really need three point’s tomorrow.
Brennan strikes me as the kind of person who will make himself unavailable if there is a real prospect of the move happening.
I honestly think Brennan's not the problem and he'd probably just want to stay here and enjoy playing for his team in the prem. Its the people who are advising him though. I agree he wont be playing tonight.
His dad won't let him play, his dad is pushing for the move apparently, neymar and his dad situation, he will be getting a big pay out.. I'm not worried about him not playing. We play better when he's on the bench, I know he has talent but your sat most of the game waiting for it to show

Agree.
Jonno snr has probably got quite a few regrets about his own career decisions and is probably trying to put a few wrongs right by ensuring his lad cashes in. Massive gamble sending his lad to Chelsea. Yes he'll be set financially for life but he cpuld easily fall away there too. I say the latter is probably more likely to be honest.

I don't get that impression of him at all. I do however think his advisor/s think differently

No one can grumble about a move to Chelsea.
There is a much better chance of European football, or winning the League, plus the financial benefit.
Football is a career, and a short one at that.
He has to take it.

I don't get that impression of him at all. I do however think his advisor/s think differently +1. His dad is acting in the interests of his son here. It may not be the best move for him but it will certainly make him a very rich young man. Nobody can begrudge him that but football can be a short career, one kick and it's all over. Good luck to Brennan just not against NFFC.

Everyone is expecting a Forest win tonight, does that make anyone nervous? What was the last game we were expected to win? This game is very different to the hard away games we have.

I'm expecting it to be tense, we certainly could do with winning. I'm expecting it'll be tight but we have the better team and are at home so should have more chances. I'm thinking something similar to Southampton last year.
That was fun and not horrifyingly painful right?

Hate to say it, but the last home game we were expected to win in such a way was probably Bournemouth last season. And we all know how that turned out - even though it didn't matter ultimately.

I think they will give us a run for our money, having the best team on paper means nothing these days.. some games you just get out coached. Be tight I think.. 1.1

Sheffield Utd play a transition formation of a 5-4-1 without the ball moving to a 3-2-1-4 with the ball. A very Aggressive team that will press high, take risky challenges and concede high volume of fouls to break any flow of the opposition. Despite the higher than average number of fouls given away in dangerous areas teams have not taken advantage of these situations due to the ability of the team to deal with Aerial duels.
Sheff utd’s main focus of attack is to win the ball back as quickly as possible and move it out wide before taking long shots of crosses into the box. Most of the wide play is done via the Sheff utd right had side with 51% of all plays and patterns being on that side.
A team very comfortable on the ball and are willing to pass the ball around midfield and defence when required, however when the opposition players are in defensive positions they struggle to find space and passes between the lines in order to break teams down and create chances. They are a more attacking threat without the ball and can use the high press for turn overs and fast breaks while the opposition team players are out of positions creating space to run into.
Sheff Utd do have a large weakness that is very similar to Forest and that is the ability to get the wing backs up the pitch in time to support the attacks and provide the width and over loads against compact defensives. Once they are in support they leave a large amount of space in behind them and with CB’s with slow pace and a highline they are open to counter attacks from direct passes and players with good dribbling skills.
Nottingham Forest vs Sheffield United's head to head record shows that of the 15 meetings they've had, Nottingham Forest has won 4 times and Sheffield United has won 5 times. 6 fixtures between Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United has ended in a draw.
Nottingham Forest win 65% of home games and Sheff Utd win 25% of away games
Nottingham Forest score 1.2 goals per match at home with most goals scored in 16-30 mins.
Sheff utd score 1.6 goals per match at the city ground with mist goals scored in 46-60 mins.
Nottingham forest concede 1.7 goals at home.
Sheff utd concede 1.3 goals at the city ground.
Likely win % for Nottingham Forest is 48%
Likely win % for Sheff utd is 40%
Likely Draw % is 12%
With the hurt of the semi-final to the play-off still ringing in their ears I expect Sheff utd to start fast against Forest with some challenges to set the tone and go unpunished due to them being made early and the ref not wanting to bring out the yellow to early. If forest can stand up to the fast onslaught and get a foothold in the first half and build from there they would be the mostly likely to win the game with a strong second half.
That said this will be a very tough game, with both team having the same tactics and formational transitions it will not be one anyone will be able to relax and enjoy with huge swings in who is on top. I will suggest that this finishes in a score draw

Never an easy game against this lot and they will be well up for it.
We can win for sure but will have to play far better and more disciplined than we have shown to date.
