Arsenal - Nottingham Forest

Managed to show a bit of fight and didn’t capitulate like last season. Hopefully Taiwo will be fit to start soon. Impressed by Elanga’s direct running. A couple more decent additions and we’ll be ok, even if Brennan leaves.

I agree JL. Its a bit of a paradox. Personally preferred the Promotion season
Hammering 3 or 4 past teams, Really exciting competition any team can win, No VAR, kick offs at 3pm Saturday.
But you just have to want to be in the best league.

There were many games in our promotion season that were largely turgid.

I know what I would prefer and dont say support another team you just can't.

You might want to try supporting ours first

Unlucky lads. Thought the tactics weren’t far off. Very nearly an excellent away performance.

I thought Turner was very good. What a difference the subs made. there will be plenty of teams at the Emirates that will concede more than two and not score. A good second half performance and if we can repeat that and be consistent then survival is assured.

That was a much better 2nd half, Elanga was electric and Awoniyi hasn't lost his touch.
I'm very happy with the way they finished, Arsenal were a little rattled and unsure.

We need that midfielder who can deal with possession when we have it so we can have four at the back and push for a front three.

Taiwo is the only player capable of holding onto the ball to get us up the pitch. He’s so vital to the way we play and he frightens opposition defenders

Before someone says it you cannot start the game the way we played last 10 mins because Arsenal pick you off for certain and you get hammered.

That was better than I had hoped, I was really fearing a battering but at least we are not bottom after the first week.

I'm starting to think Taiwo is really good, the difference in quality between when he plays and without is amazing.
