The Premier League's Twitter feed posted a tweet asking people to predict their final tables and the views of other fans on how Forest will perform are interesting. The ones I've seen seem to have a greater degree of confidence than a lot of our fans do. There are more people putting us around 13th-16th than there are putting us in the relegation places. Michael Owen reckons we'll finish 13th too - though he also had Everton down as finishing 12th!

They were under an embargo last year due to debts owed to other clubs. That was removed after promotion so presume they used the Prem money to settle those debts, doesn't seem like they have a budget much beyond that though. 

Owner is looking to sell so they may have money after that but suspect that'll be too late. I think they'll likely finish bottom unless there is a major influx of talent in January

I'm actually really surprised that we are starting this season weaker than we finished last season. Probably visions of grandeur from staying up but thought we were going to be kicking on from there. Fingers crossed that a years experience of the premier League has made our current players grow and develop. I am concerned /worried about were we will end up at the end of the season if I'm honest. I'm sure a lot of other teams are to but for me we are the the third weakest defence in the league on paper before a ball is kicked at the moment and that is a concern.
