Up to £40m for a defender with history of cruciate injury
Southampton have Lavia and Ward Prowse both also worth around £40m, the likes of Walker Peters and a few others worth a fair bit too. Makes you wonder how they managed to stink the league out last season.

Still think we may end up paying well over the odds for Che Adams somehow.

Lopetegui considering his position at Wolves due to their financial issues.

Good cos he’s a good coach.
They are really cost cutting.
A few injuries and they are in deep shit

Think Wolves will definitely struggle this season and they might end up losing their goalkeeper yet too.

So Wolves & Luton ready for the drop.
Everton may get a points deduction.
This may be the perfect season for limited transfer incomings and lots of outgoings.

You forgot Sheff Utd also have no money and sold their best player.

Very true the above. Last season I was looking at the league and to be honest couldn’t see 3 teams that looked weaker.
Luton and Sheff Utd definitely do look weaker than us. Everton points reduction would be both good for us and hilarious.
Wolves could well be this year’s Leicester. There is normally one team who does unexpectedly well and another who does unexpectedly badly. In the style of Kevin Keegan I would love it, love it if it was Brentford.

If Carlsberg could organise the relegation positions:
Sheff Utd
Brentford
Everton

Hmm, that's a tricky one. I'd kinda like Wolves to go down too. I've nothing against Everton but they've just barely escaped relegation so many times I think they're due one. Can't stand Brentford fans but can't see them being anywhere near trouble unfortunately.

Those 3 going down would be immense. If we're doing Carlsberg versions then I'd have Liverpool and Man United going down with Everton but that's probably asking a bit too much.....

Still hoping Everton gets a good fine and really good points deduction for their money problems  :Thumb:
