Yes they would but if relegated there is zero chance we can afford to keep all 3.

Interesting the 3 you pick are all young and pacey. If the worst happens we need to try to keep that approach and add more young players

Wood and Ayew will look hopelessly slow in the Championship too.

If we have the ambition to be promoted straight away (thats of course we get relegated to which I don't think we will) then we will keep the 3 players you mentioned and probably could afford to due to the parachute payments we'd get (again IF we get relegated) and get rid of the older players whos probably on larger wages than the younger lads.

Woods record (obviously not at Forest) suggest he would be a handful at Championship level.

Probably get slaughtered for this but on  the evidence we've seen  Ayew is the best we have at holding the ball up and bringing others into play. I assume that's why he gets game time.

Granted its a very low bar in that respect  but its a huge problem we have had all season. That role Keenan played protecting the ball with the ability to turn or lay it off. It's been lacking. Ayew is not the answer due to the rest of his game being somewhat lacking. We have loads of CFs, but none of them has yet shown themselves to be up to task.

Wood  Surrige, Ayew, Taiwo possibly Dennis. 5 CFs but none been good enough.

He had a great season and now he is playing really really well for England under 21'a at The Euros.

Only a matter of time before the big guns come in with massive bids at this rate.

Agreed, hopefully he can get some rest ahead of a big season for us all

He's not starting today for England under 21 against Germany.

Anybody else watching it?

That German left back looks about 50.

Glad he has been rested, looks like they are rotating the squad. Don’t want him being overplayed and picking up an injury, that would mess us right up.

Yes a nice little rest will do him the world of good.

If England get to the final it’s on Sat 8th July.
Would imagine he will prob be given a 2 week holiday from that, which would mean 3 weeks until start of the season.
I think he had a about 10 days holiday at the end of the season before they met up for this tournament.
