Favouritism.....playing certain players regardless, even when their form says drop them.
Tactically inept at PL level.
Disliking certain players - the opposite of the Favouritism (I get the feeling Scarpa is the most recent addition)
Which is fair enough - we are all human. However, if he wants to progress, stay at Forest, become better and become a top manager he is the one who must address his own faults. I think recently since the big man read the riot act Cooper has indeed changed a little.......and performances have got better.
If Cooper can make more changes, improve himself, then I would be happy for him to remain (with some new back room faces in place).
Will be interesting times ahead...........I believe if we go down Cooper is going nowhere, but if we stay up then its still at this moment 50/50 as to whether he stays or "mutual consent" leaving will be announced and "going in different directions" will be rolled out, as it was at Swansea.
I think up or down Cooper is gone.

Steve Cooper is unhappy with the Nottingham Forest ownership and has interviewed twice for the soon-to-be vacant job at Crystal Palace, TEAMtalk understands.
Cooper, 43, has worked wonders in his two seasons at the City Ground. The Welshman helped Nottingham Forest achieve promotion to the Premier League through the play-offs last term.
Forest’s sole goal upon returning to the top flight for the first time this century was avoiding relegation. For much of the campaign it appeared that objective would not be achieved.
However, Forest’s superb 1-0 victory over Arsenal secured their Premier League status on Sunday. The club can now enjoy their final outing of the year against Crystal Palace next week without the threat of relegation hanging over their heads.
However, TEAMtalk has exclusively learned that next week’s opponent – Crystal Palace – may in fact poach Cooper at season’s end.
Roy Hodgson is in charge of the Eagles until the end of the season. There has been speculation he could be rewarded with a new one-year contract for guiding them to safety. However, we’ve been told the interview process to appoint a brand new candidate is already in full swing.
What’s more, we’ve learned Forest boss Cooper has already interviewed for the soon-to-be vacant Palace job not once but twice.
Losing Cooper would be a bitter pill to swallow for Forest, especially after sticking by their man during a season in which his position came under serious pressure at varying stages.
However, we understand Cooper is unhappy with the Forest ownership and as such, will consider jumping ship to Selhurst Park if offered the opportunity.

At odds with everything said by cooper yesterday:
"But it will allow the club to move forward. It is the next step that is in my mind now."
He wants to progress the team next year…

I agree, let’s enjoy the moment! It’s a tricky one because securing Premier League status for next season still leaves lots of questions to be answered. Now’s not really the time for that though, let’s enjoy!

We know there were issues at the start of the season with the weird contract thing. Cooper will be aware that they've interviewed other managers. Perhaps the club did let Palace speak to him and were/are considering the alternatives/taking Palace money.
However, there's nothing like winning to heal wounds. I really hope it can be resolved as I don't think it's time yet for Cooper to move on and there's more we can do together.

I hate it when you do that…
I can only assume it’s got some truth in it - and given the situation a few months ago I wouldn’t be at all surprised. Cooper was walking a tightrope, EM was interviewing candidates and it’s only right cooper looked around if he was bracing for the sack at any minute.
However I now suspect, and hope, it’s old news and purely academic. Water under the bridge.
I think this for two reasons-
From cooper’s side, he’s done what he needed to do and his words about the club the fans and the next stage of building are not just lip service. There’s no way he would leave now unless pushed.
From EM’s point of view, it’s now simple; to sack him would be the biggest mistake he’s made since buying the club. It would implode everything around him and Randall and Co would be negligent to not advise him of such if he can’t see it himself (which in any case I’m sure he can).
Nothing to see here- at least not any more.

Agree DRF.
Good grief 24 hours with nothing to worry about would have been nice!
Anyhow this is probably old news from April time. To be honest wouldn’t have blamed Cooper for having an interview and can’t blame Marinakis to having serious thoughts when we were on a terrible run.
Thought EM spoke very honestly and well yesterday. He has looked at alternatives but there were none better. But lets not kid ourselves if he could have tempted Pochettino into saying yes then Cooper would have been gone in a heartbeat.
Anyhow I seriously hope we get another full season at least with Steve, surely its just too good to throw away right now.
Final thought. EM said he wanted a manager to win trophies.
Last season Promoted and a cup quarter final
This season survival and a cup semi final
Next season….Not beyond the realms of possibility that we go one better again?

Talks will be held between EM and SC.
Things are frosty, hopefully they can work it out.
I would put Steve's chances of staying at 50/50.
