Niakhate posted “good luck tomorrow lads” on Instagram. I’m guessing he won’t be available

Just trying to get over the disappointment of yesterday. Awoniyi put on another decent performance and his shoulder seemed ok. We've lost Danillo but Yates is back and will now get a good week of training in before Southampton. And Kouyate looks like he came through unscathed. So even though Danillo's done, Cooper still has options.

If being unable to control the ball, pass to a teammate, head the ball properly or shoot on target counts as decent then I agree Awoniyi played well.

He's such an odd player, all of the above is true and yet the team overall looks better with him on the pitch

He keeps the defender busy. They know he can physically hold it and turn them. He keeps them honest. I didn't hear people complaining when he put Danillo through on goal v Brighton. He allows us to get out and frees up Brennan to play further up the pitch. He's a physical presence on set plays, especially now we have Niakhate's exocet throw-in in our armoury.

As you say, he's not a silky player but he makes us much better.

He played pretty well against Brighton, think his fitness caught up with him a hit yesterday though. Got to remember he was injured for a long time. A week off should do him good.

Danilo just looked like cramp.
His legs just completely cramped.
He literally couldn’t walk, didn’t look like a hammy to me

Hamstring - he did a double lunge and hyper extended his leg -

Is that official, or your opinion ?

Brazilian media reporting Danilo out for two weeks so would miss Southampton and Chelsea.

Probably safe to assume we won't see him on Monday.
