Brighton Fans Match Comments 1st Half.........
For me this depends on how disciplined Forest manage to be. If they sit in the low block they can get something including a win on the break. BUT, the home fans will be pushing them to attack and pressure us and that plays into our hands. If they do they we can exploit it and get the win.
Agree, I’m hoping last nights results means the pressure is on from their fans which in turn hopefully will be at the expense of discipline
They love a long throw into box and causing chaos. Not great for us
We've got 5 South Americans in that starting 11.
My thinking too. I love Julio and his boundless energy and hunger for goals, but if Forest sit back, I don't know if he'll be able to battle through them.
On the other hand, Forest might come at us instead. They are perilously close to being doomed and they might just decide it's now or never. They probably should.
Early goal lads, settle us and agitate their crowd
Really nervous about this one, not confident at all with all our injuries and 120 mins on Sunday.
f*** me, half the N F players look like Rugby league Units.
we're going to need to be hot on our tired toes. . . Just to avoid injuries.
Handbags!
Good. Dirty northern bastard.
Very surprised the ref made the right call booking Felipe, I was just about to moan about the fact he didn't.
Great start - Forest booking. Feisty stuff already.
What the f*** was that for? Facundo wasnt exactly appealing for a pen, and Forest go into him as if its a big dive...
Dunk had to restrain the young guns there, irrelevant of that fact Facundo dived, you can't be grabbing someone by the shirt collar and picking them up like that, so disrespectful.
Enciso was ready for violence, he's very hot headed.
Forest look soooo pumped in this. Could work in our favour…
Balls. Don't think VAR will overturn that.
f***ing stupid by Estupinan, what an idiot.
Yeah, I don't think there's a lot of doubt there. Clear penalty.
Law of averages says we don’t concede our next pen.
Brilliant save by Steele,oh what could of been at Wembley
Thats why JS is in goal. 10/10
Lovely to hear the Solly March song so loud.
Proper cauldron to chuck the kids into. Need to weather this and start to slow it down a wee bit for 5-10 mins.
So Forest are clearly going for it. Don't think they have any other choice at this point in their season.
We need to weather the storm and let them tire themselves out.
Got to keep the ball for a bit and shut the crowd up.
Good news their long throw merchant is off.
Listening to the commentary, it doesn't sound like Brighton are being very convincing so far.
We look like the team at the bottom of the table right now
We look awful ATM not fun to watch.
Unbelievable save by Navas do deny Enciso
Quietened Forest down that chance, resets the match. Enjoyable this.
Forest are a shite team with a world class keeper
Ref is a homer
Fair play to Forest, having a proper go. Just thinking back to Leicester’s dismally defensive tactics at home earlier in the year, more ambition from Forest in first 15 minutes than from Foxes for entire game. Still can’t believe they came so close to beating us!
Brighton have made 100 more passes than Forest. - Commentator on BT Sport.
What was it, £200m for this bunch of shite cloggers that play nine at the back and rely on long throws and lucky hoofs etc?
Poor value really.
Brighton starting to retain possession more.
High energy game. The fittest team will win.
Proper imposing themselves now. They've worked out the left hand side nicely, Mitoma and Pervis have got their number now.
Mitoma on fire!
Forest going down like flies
Helps them out really as gives them a chance to rest. Tacticul (maybe not the shoulder one). We need to score.
Hate watching Forest. Just like the home game already they are on the floor every 2 minutes. Hope they go down
How have we not scored against this shower so far this season?
Brennan Johnson looks oddly like Steve Cooper.
Great play again. We really are bloody good you know
Just a slight shove in the back.
Really surprised Forest didn't protest more about a blatant shove by Dunky and no attempt to play the ball
Get in !!!!
That'll do. 1-0. Facu
GOODNIGHT!!
That was building. Christ we look deadly on the break…
We deserved that! Good night Nottingham!!
That starts the scoring. Too bad it wasn't Solly's goal but I think Solly gets the winner. Great follow up by Buona.
If Forest go down Nico Williams looks good.
It really is like watching Brazil
Ironically about the only South American nation we don’t represent these days
Jesus our passing is so quick the camera can barely keep up with it. It's like watching prime Barcelona
Credit to the Forest fans. Really crap team but getting behind them.
The potential of Enciso is massive. Running circles around Forest.
Love hearing the desperate cries of 'FOOKIN GET INTO UM' when we take the piss like that away from home
3 mins added.
They are shite up front.
Commentator says Forest are making us look like the Harlem Globetrotters
Forest players look knackered already.
Balls. Deflection.
1-1
Off Gross's foot.
Bugger. 1-1. Another deflected goal
What a shit goal to concede. Against such a shit team as well.

Brighton Fans Half Time Ramblings........
That's given them a huge boost for half time!
It won't last. They just got lucky. There's a gulf in class and press
That is gutting after such a good half - they've done nothing, bloody nothing, for about half an hour
Dominated yet again, had chances and virtually outplayed them apart from sporadic Forest breaks. In effect they could of been 2-1 up but for Steel's penalty save!
It was a decent first half. We deserve to be winning - but we're not - due to a bit of misfortune.
Steele should have done better, but the Sanchez v Steele thing is an interesting one, as we'd certainly have already conceded one through the penalty if Sanchez started, but probably not conceded the goal that happened.
I'm not nervous at all. I'm confident of the win. Forest have no cohesion - they only have any kind of chance through brute force, luck, or individual brilliance.... but it's a team game. We're going to win this. Quote me on that.
That's the reason forest are going down, they're quite woeful in front of goal. They create some good chances, with a little help from us, but as we know, if you don't put them away...
We'll be alright second half
We need to step it up. Poor defending and poor finishing. Only ourselves to blame
People saying it’s been a good half. I don’t see it that way at all. I think we’ve been leggy, making lots of poor mistakes. Buonanotte, Dunk, Groß and March have all put it out of play under no pressure, Pervis is having a nightmare (not through lack of energy or effort). I’d say it’s one of our worst halves of the season so far.
Our attack is technical. Their attack is determined.
If we had as much urgency up front as we have in midfield we’d be miles ahead.
Poor first 15 but after that men v boys. So unlucky to concede like that ffs.
We've dominated and played some extremely classy football.
If this is our worst half of the season. What a f***ing season.
Really shit first 10mins and then bossed it for 35mins, then a stupid goal undoes the hard work.
Need to be way more clinical in the final third.
Mac is having a great game, Enciso has an unreal turn on him, Mitoma having a good game, need to get Solly in it more as he's been good when he's had the ball. Cracking save from Steele for the pen, unlucky for the goal, not much he could do.
Pervis not been great and Levi looked a bit shaky at times too.
we'll win 3-1.
Mitoma needs to run at those defenders, particularly at the lad on the yellow. Ally Mac disappointing for me in front of goal
Forest playing well tactically .... We can play like harlem.globe trotters all we want. But they still look more like scoring than us.

we'll win 3-1.
We’ve massively favoured the left flank I agree. Need to get March on the ball more as had so much space at times.
Must have been a good 15 minute spell when March didn’t have a touch, could be tactical (switch focus second half) but certainly noticeable

Meh. First half belongs to the players, the second half belongs to the managers.
Confident for the second half.

Brighton Fans Comments 2nd Half.........
Enciso is one hell of a player!
Possibly going to be the best of the lot?!
That's more like it. Nice from Julio.
Dunk forcing the issue there. We need more from Ali Mac and March. Welbeck on?
Need to shut this crowd up as they're lifting Forest too much for my liking
But everyone keeps saying the fans have no effect on the pitch.
The Crowd are right up for this, we could well crumble here.
Need a bit of luck, could do with a pen, or dodgy var decision.
Pervis so shaky tonight. Forest crowd woken up.
f*** dunk - so many sloppy passes now
Ooh shocker from Mitoma
Stop singing Forest fans. You're pissing me off. Veltman and Welbeck on for Bunoa and Julio I think
Back to not enjoying this again esp now Forest crowd have woken up off the back of our sloppiness
Terrible from Mitoma. Then we nearly concede!
What a game of football though. Enjoying this far more than Sunday.
Dunk has been poor so far this half, Forest are LOUD.
With our finishing tonight, this doesn't bode well.
Yikes. Is Williams really hurt there?
Mitoma’s lost a bit of mojo hasn’t he. Since even before the semi-final, he’s looked a bit tentative in his dealings….
I wonder who Chrissy Houghton wants to win here tonight, would like to think it's us.
This doesn’t look good for Williams
Kicked by his own player. Doesn't look great.
Hope he's OK. Hope this break in play does us a bit of a favour though too re a rest and chance to reset..
Nico Williams stretchered off, awful to see.
What do they mean 'Champions of Europe - you'll never sing that'. Give us five years.....
Flattened the home crowd a bit, now let's go for the f***ing jugular.
These old stadiums make for such better atmosphere.
f***. But it’s been coming.
2-1 That's killed us now
Shocker from Moises. Been on the cards. We’ve completely folded here.
Oh just fukk right off.
Farewell Europe
I really hate bloody football since Sunday. f*** this
FFS 2-1 Forest. They were bloody useless at the Amex how are we losing to them, they’re a rag bag of random buys stuck together
Caicedo has given the ball away more tonight than he has all season FFS
f*** this shit. Game over, turned it off.
De Zerbi totally at fault for keeping knackered players out there.
Shocking second half, piss poor passing and dicking about. Deserve to be losing, absolute wank since the break.
How can we lose to Forest they are absolute rubbish
It's going to be 8th. place, isn't it? No wins in 11 - we just HAVE to put a stop to records like that. Never has the idea of finishing higher than last season seemed less inspiring..........
The players are tired, it's obvious.
WHERE ARE THE f***ing SUBS?
Dunk and Caicedo can barely stand up. Mitoma may as well not be out there.
Ffs Undav coming on! Might as well give Forest the 3 pts now!
First time forest have come from behind to lead a game this season
This unfortunately was waiting to happen tonight
Worrying how tired we look and have another game in 3 days. Actually fuming right now that we've suddenly found ourselves with so much fixture congestion - it's f***ed us over
Forest looking good now, wouldn't surprise me to see them put game to bed
Come on we can surely get at least a point from this game.
Is De Zerbi trying to prove a point or something? This is ridiculous. Just f***ing get Veltman/JPvH on for Dunk, get Gilmour on for Gross/Caicedo. It is blindingly obvious.
What the f*** is wrong with us? Just pissing away our hopes of European football.
Navas saves them again
An incredible season up to now but it suddenly feels like it's going to be a shit ending. Some ridiculous VAR shit against us/ridiculous fixture congestion and tiredness f***ing us over
Forest seem to want it more than us least we can say for once we were not f***ed over or deserved to win
A rare off night this season
We have to get something from this but Forest will quite happily defend for their lives and who can blame them?
So poor tonite against a very poor side!
Put your passports away no European tour!
Caisedo and Ali Mac must be knackered! RDZ totally at fault, they need a have a rest!
Obvious handball?
Never a handball
There are going to be a lot of Forest injuries now.
We just try to be too clever. This lot are a poor team, we don’t need to be too clever. Our best chances have been quick breaks and pace or balls over the top to run onto. None of the intricate passing moves have worked at all.
I can feel it all slipping away…
They’re absolute kick and rush merchants, but they’ve got bucket loads of energy, something we’ve got very little of at the moment.
We are getting what we deserve tonight against a team fighting for their lives .
Shit happens
That's going to be a pen
Game over . . .3-1
Look fair play to Forest - they have gutsed this one out
Deffo a pen.
Sadly giving away 4 points to a team of random journeymen could cost us Europe.
Clear as day. Wow did this ever turn to shit?
Yeah definite penalty. Too many players playing like shit, must be tiredness and the club is the one to blame for that. Let too many players go with no replacements
f***ing shambles tonight. The go to team to end a bad run haven't disappointed
Fu*ck sake. Losing 3-1 to these c*nts and Liverpool winning.
Forrest deserve the win, their fans buzzing the whole game too.
10 minutes extra time of this crap.
Embarressing losing to a pub team
There are some right mongs in that forest crowd
They look shattered and totally dispirited. We've basically come up against the wrong team full of energy at the wrong time. Really could have done with the week off. And then you think about the fixture build up to come.
Depressing but inevitable. Hope everyone went large on the crazy Forest odds as consolation.
Result 3-1

What is it about fans from the southern clubs that all seem to think they are someway entitled to win every game? This lot rate alongside the Arsenal, wet Spam, Chelsea and Spuds fans opinions of themselves.
I do like the fact that our superb support was pissing a lot of them off though.

Brighton Fans The Aftermath........
Embarrassing
Tired or not, outplayed by Forest who hadn't won for 11 games ffs
We’ll do anything to get Leeds relegated
The crowd is probably only the decent player Forest have.
We’ve been terrible tonight, but I can’t really blame them, legs are completely gone.
Yep i would! Absolute folly to play the same worn out legs again!
So, who would’ve been your centre midfield combo to win away at high spending Forest, in front of a crowd urging them onto safety?
Well, I don’t mind losing to Forest in some ways. Want them to stay in PL, and keep the relegation spots for Dirty Leeds!
I really thought when Steele saved the first penalty that the football gods might actually smile on us for once.
How wrong I was.
We've basically come up against the wrong team full of energy at the wrong time.
oh come on Forest are shit and are where they are for a reason. We’ve lost because of shocking defending and failing to take huge chances.
I think what I meant was that Forest were really up for it tonight. It's what happens towards the end of the season when they desperately need to win. They were at us from the first minutes.
High spending Forest who haven’t won for 11 games! Give your head a wobble! Our boys are dead on their feet after Sunday! How do we know if the squad is good enough if we won’t give them a chance?
Their manager is an absolute genius for firstly getting Forest up and then secondly giving this rag bag of random signings a chance of staying in this league.
forest are not shit they deserved to win tonight we have had a really bad off night like London Irish said reminds me off when we used to turn over top teams when fighting for our lives
Forest look more likely to make it 4-1 than for us to pull one back.
Forest have played well second half, and we just ran out of steam.
You can’t do anything if our best player by miles Caicedo gets caught for the crucial goal. Put it down to a hangover against a team that were very good tonight. We just have to do to the likes of Arsenal what Forest have done to us - they wanted it a bit more, which I understand given the stakes for staying in this league are higher than qualifying for the Euro conference
Forest are definitely not shit
Well derserved forest
Forrest fully deserved it tonight, very leggy performance after 120 minutes only 3 days ago at Wembley. Can’t play to the best every game, poor performance but some of the chat going on in here is border line ridiculous! We bounce back and go again Saturday. Up the Albion.
At least Forest aren't a team I actively dislike.
The usual story against teams that defend deep. We don’t have enough up front to break teams like that down. But that second Forest goal was a disaster. Dunk didn’t need to make the pass, he put Caicedo under pressure, and Colwill was wrong-footed.
Well played Forest.
I thought we looked tired, Caceido especially, but lets not make excuses, Forest executed their game plan brilliantly.
Sometimes, with the way we play we'll be picked off, so be it, so much better to watch than whats gone before.
Don’t begrudge Forest this, they were better on the night. We did look tired in the second half, though loved the way Mitoma and March kept running throughout.
A forgivable lapse from our usual high standards, and no lack of effort on our part, but a slight mental and physical fatigue. Forest played this like a cup final and deserved the win.
Think their equaliser killed us. We had taken control and had several opportunities to win the ball before the deflection.
Forest set up well. They played very well (bar the usual theatrics every time someone looked at them). We helped them out with some wayward passes. Was always going to be a tough game tonight. The added time didn’t help meaning 225 minutes for some players in a few days.
plus sides; good save from Steele on the pen, Offiah debut, Buananotte scoring, Undav on target, no further obvious injuries and 2 days to recoup before Saturday.
One of those days tonight.
A completely understandable off day but forest fully deserved the win
The deflected goal before half time turned the game. We were dominant until that point and it completely lifted Forest. They had our measure in the second half and we faded for obvious reasons. The Europa League is still a possibility with a lot of games to go, but I think tonight may drain some belief.
Forest crowd were up for it, players closed us down cleverly, and we were a bit off.
Horrible game that. Fair play to Forest. The crowd pushed them on and some of our own goal, misses and poor passing let them in.
We were up for it and had energy but didn't play well enough. So many poor performances. We couldn't handle their crowd and their running. We got caught up in it all.
Maybe missing out on Europe won't be such a bad thing. No bollocks to that. regroup Albion and get the basics right
Yeh apart from the second bit of the first half when we could have put them to the sword, Forest competed superbly
With the benefit of hindsight it does seem there was an inevitability that tonight would turn out as it did.
Our lot were spent, either physically or mentally, and they just didnt have it in them to overcome a very ‘up for it’ Forest.
I’m normally really f***ed off with a defeat but weirdly tonight I feel more melancholic.
City ground was absolutely rocking from the first minute. Maybe gave our players a bit of a fright after playing 120 minutes in silence at wembley at the weekend.
I joke, but forest were clearly massively boosted by the crowd.
Just look at tonight as us doing our bit to get Leeds relegated.
I don’t see a lot of players waiting in the wings who have showed they’ve got what it takes to win the kind of war that Forest made it tonight. The young Argentine lad did ok. Colwill was going to come in as him and Webster are close rivals. But can’t see anything else. Not sure who we would have dropped in midfield to make way for Gilmour
On the coach back. We were architects of our own downfall sometimes you have to play route 1 football. Too much non dangerous possession, too slow and fatally the wrong pass in the wrong area at the wrong time. That game was in our hands after we scored and we let it go. Forest played to their strengths (one of which is feigning injury) we didn't play the fast passing game. I accept we seemed tired so we should have adjusted our game accordingly.
Personally would like to see forest go down based on watching two games of cheating..
That was tough. Tiredness certainly showed as the game went on. Passing wasn’t nice and sharp like it usually is. And Forest fought for their lives and took advantage of the 120+ mins in our legs.
All credit to the Forest fans … they were immense and very loud throughout!
Looking forward to crawling into my bed sometime after 2am!!
Worth noting that forest now have a better home record than Chelsea this season and are 12th in the home table. They recently drew with man city at home and also beat Liverpool at home. They're bad but not THAT bad.
Fair play to the Forest fans, they really got behind their team last night, it made a difference.
As for us just a tired performance, tired bodies and minds. The injuries we have are really starting to bite regarding squad rotation, we really need Lallana, Lamptey, Ferguson etc back and playing soon.
Nottingham is a nice city.
Proper old skool football ground with some decent pubs nearby
Shame about the result, but WOW that was a real football experience - Forest fans were incredible. The noise levels were amazing pretty much the whole game. Don’t think I’ve seen/heard better. And I’ve probably been to over 1,000 BHA games.
As a club I think they do lots of good things….pre-match big screen stuff about how refugees need our support, pro-LGBTQI messages, trying to be a carbon-neutral club.
Fans all seemed very friendly.
And Nottingham is a great city.
Really hope they stay up.
Second half certainly the Forest noise was very loud and positive for them, first half really not so much.
Fans of the season. Didn't get to speak to any and that 'we saw you crying on TV' chant was a bit below the belt, but the noise from the city ground was loud. Pre kick off the PA kept us away fans quiet because it just wasn't worth competing. I do wonder if some clubs turn it up at the away end just to keep us quiet. But when Mull of Kintyre started the ground just errupted and all four sides sang in unison for the rest of the game. 12th man? More like the full subs bench and hats off to them.
Interestingly though the Albion support came across loud and clear on the telly for most of the first half, except the obvious flash points of the penalty and the goal, I barely heard a whisper from the Forest fans. The goal before half time completely changed everything, and both players and fans were bang up for it in the second half.
Beat me to it. Fantastic vocal support. By far the best I've heard all season on the road.
Loads of very complimentary tweets from knowledgeable Forest fans last night about our club and fans ... that we are the model for how to run a club successfully ... what a great owner TB is ... style of football etc etc.
It was a bit of a love in really ... but helped pass the hours while we negotiated three motorway closures! I didn't get home until 4am this morning.
I agree Forest fans were properly loud 2nd half, best home crowd I've seen this season. And mostly behind their team rather than taking the piss out of us, although their March 'telly' chant rankled. Most we encountered before & after the game were pretty decent friendly chaps too.
I thought Forest had their stadium layout spot on, stick the away support in a lower tier (still a good view of the game) in the corner and have vocal fans both sides and above. We tried to sing but were beaten back by sheer noise and numbers surrounding us. I’d love us to be able to do the same, but we don’t make as much noise as that so it probably wouldnt work (thats not a dig, Forest were exceptional last night). As I said earlier their supporters lifted that team a lot.

I think it's pretty obvious where the best part of the last lot of posters were last night.............at the City Ground.
Some very decent comments, unlike the earlier batches that were made by the TV at home brigade.
Some nice complimentary comments in the last batch

Used to live down that way. Some of the most annoying entitled irritating fans you can imagine. Not bad in a Sheff Utd knuckle draggers kind of way but really really annoying.
They clearly forget 3000 of us complete outsang them at their place. Hundreds of empty seats in away end last night too.
Admittedly a good team though!
