Injuries And Suspensions
I know a couple of academy players have been drafted into the squad for tomorrow

This has to have been one of the worst seasons I can remember for long term injuries to starting players. McKenna you could argue isn't a starter in a fully fit squad but had looked good since returning.

Yates, Taiwo, Boly, Kouyate, Henderson. 4 of our 5 best performing players this season plus a striker that was just starting to look good and at the very least has physical attributes that we can't replicate within our squad.

Just so frustrating if we go down and never saw where we could've got to with a bit more injury luck.

The other thing with injuries was that it led to some of now questionable additions in january that upset the balance of the squad just as it appeared cooper was getting a handle on his first xi.

Yes it’s hard to pick a best 11 from a fully fit squad I would probably go for thus but we would have a real strong bench

Navas
Aurier Felipe niakhate Lodi
Kouyate Yates Danilo
Mgw
Johnson taiwo
Come on you mighty Reds

What’s wrong with Ryan Yates? Will he be back this season?

Yates we believe is a recurrence of his shoulder injury which kept him out a long time previously. Whether there is a bit more of his “ mystery illness” too we don’t know but it is very quiet about him, suspect he isn’t back soon.

Would imagine Mckenna out for season if broken collar bone.

Yates is back training.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he starts on Weds

It's amazing how Yates was written off for most of his Forest career by a large proportion of the fanbase, yet somehow is now the Phoenix rising to save our season!

Excellent news if true either way, be good if he good play the remainder of the games and actually regain full fitness.
