The Premier League 2022/23
I personally think Leicester are gone, so I feel it’s just outscore Everton every week

My worry is EM will throw one last chance with the dice and hope for a new manager bounce in a bid to keep us up. I want SC to stay but can’t see him keeping us up. Great Championship manager though, what a dilemma for the big man

I honestly dont think there'd be a bounce. I think it'd be the opposite, a slump. The players would give in.

If he was gonna sack coops it would of been done Monday so he had a full week to prep for Liverpool. Think we will stick till we know what our future is. Don't buy all this cooper will be here next season. Will be sacked or leave us

Only gutting thing is looks like Sheffield Utd will replace us !

Thank you for saying that RG. I've been feeling similar but was keeping it secret!! Hasn't been much fun this year so far anyway.

I would sooner finish 17th in the premier league than win the championship.

How about we finish 17th, 15th, 12th then go down or relegated this year, championship title, 12th?

23 years outside the top flight. After that every season in the prem is a bonus. On a different note do you think we can win three more matches? Will that be enough? And which three games would be most likely.

Brighton, Southampton, Palace

Just making this easy to find if anyone wants to have another go!
First the points and then the pints….

For me, the Liverpool away game is another free hit. Don't expect anything, far less optimistic than I was when we played United on Sunday. Still fuming about that game despite others trying to make out we couldn't do any better.

Then, I genuinely believe the next 4 games after Liverpool represent chances for us to get away with it, I think. Brighton at home....we have to target at least a point there. Brentford away - they are on a poor run at the moment, hopefully that continues and they aren't playing for anything. Southampton at home is an absolute must win, obviously, though they may feel like they're effectively down by then - if we've done our job in the games before! Then Chelsea away...they have nothing left to play for, a disgruntled squad that has just got a 30% pay cut due to not qualifying from the champions league etc. Arsenal will still be fighting for the league title and Palace on the last day....please don't leave us needing a win on the last day?!?

If we need a win on the last day then we're toast.

If we have a chance of surviving on the last day then that’s quite an achievement given how much we were written off at the start of the season and the massive churn of players.

It should be a positive

I hate to be a misery guts but does anybody expect us to get three victories. I see Man Utd are losing tonight with just about the same team they put out against us. Truth is we are rubbish at the moment in time when we needed to be at our best. Let’s hope for another miracle like last season.

Seriously?

Should we have an open top bus parade too so we can have a proper celebration?
