That plans are underway I am sure you are correct.

Who are we going to blame when we still go down by the way?

And you, who's to blame if we're blaming?

Genuinely nobody
The gap between Championship and Premier League with last years squad simply too much.

Our owner backed us without question. Our head coach has done his best and in my opinion as well as anyone could have done. By the way I think he has made plenty of mistakes too, reckon Steve would admit to it himself.

If you want a scapegoat how about the physio/medical teams for our appalling injury list.

I'm not interested in scapegoats to be honest. I might have a rant and a rave about individuals at times but it's all heat of the moment stuff really.

I've ranted about individual players not being up to it at times out of frustration. Once the dust settles think maybe I shouldn't have said this or said that but I suppose that's what comes with being emotionally involved in a team you love.

The Bournemouth win at Spurs yesterday impressed the BBC who said they "dominated the ball". This, I think, begs us a question. How have Bournemouth who were no better than us last year improved so much that they can not only win at Spurs but win by controlling the game? Did they spend a lot? Did they change their manager and coaches? Have they developed huge support? None of those. I just hope that today we at least try and emulate their effort because we'll get nothing except defeat and relegation if we let them and the others that we have to play have the ball and hope to catch them on the break.

Bournemouth had a 200 million pound squad before going up. Changed manager early because Parker was to defensive, new owner came in and spent 105 million on players in January. Still those things don't guarantee success and it has been the effort they have attacked every game with and kept the ball well which has improved their chances.

I will be surprised if our next manager is British (if we decide to replace Steve).

Everyone is in some part to blame if we go down. Just as everyone was in some part deserving of praise for us getting promoted.

100% agree with this. Statistically we know we wereup against it from day 1 - the team the goes up through the pray offs always is.

A number of things of have worked against us and each has played a part and created something of a perfect storm but we are still in a fight. The field is narrowing and 3 from 5 (in my opinion) will go down. I think Saints are nearly gone & Festa do not look far away. Therefore i think we have a 1 in 3 chance with Everton and L*eds.

Ironically I think SC's best chance of keeping his job would be if we got relegated - experienced Championship manager with a promotion on his CV. Vierra linked this morning BUT only in the summer. I do not want Gerrard and if EM decides to change things then i would go for Hassenhutl.

Just my thoughts and I would defo take a point today, hopefully all 3!

Plus I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but most of our team from last season don't play for us anymore. Whereas Bournemouth kept their entire promotion team together and added to it. Its no coincidence that Yates and Brennan have been our two best players this year.

Sniffer, PV? If we are in the Championship next season I believe a British manager would be best way to get out not to many continental coaches understand the rigors of that particular league. Having said that and previous posts I hope SC and the team go out and smash it today then go on to win the next 3 games and retain PL status, if only!!!!!!!
