Yes we seem to take the lead and then freeze.
We looked quiet good last night until we scored and from that moment on we were awful.

To me that says more about the players than the coach- it’s a mentality thing…

But who's job is it to instil the mentality?
Cooper's not totally to blame but he can't be absolved of *all* blame.

One thing iv learned from twitter, is he's immune to everything. He should stay, evangelos will not be bothered about the 300m TV money as we get 90m in parachute payments. He's the right man to get us back up, as they have all seen the future. It's mental how fans have gone from growing up supporting forest. To swapping to one man fc

Indeed. I've seen a few fans tweeting saying that Cooper *is* Nottingham Forest. That's just daft. There was only one manager we've ever had who could come anywhere near to being known as *being* Nottingham Forest.

Surely that is part of a coaches job or at least one of his staff.

Yes that really grinds my gears.
When Steve gets a new job they can all go there to support him.
Leave the Forest fans to supporting Nottingham Forest.
We are Nottingham Forest FC we are not Steve Cooper FC.

Agree its daft but that loyalty to Cooper misguided or not is the reason the owner should think twice if he is tempted to act now.
The chances of Viera, Marceliino or anyone else turning things around is miniscule, all he will achieve is a divided fanbase.
Best thing Em can do is have a quiet word with Steve and they agree he leaves by mutual consent in the summer. That is assuming he wants to make the change. If EM still wants him and Cooper agrees I would be delighted if he is given another chance next season.

The funny thing is when they say that mgw, Johnson, hendo, and others will follow him, he must be going somewhere with a 100m plus budget ha. Forest pay their wages.. not the manager

Are we surprised. Cooper is, for a generation of supporters, the only success they've experienced. Some here may be old enough to remember the glory days but for those under 40, success has been thin on the ground. Cooper did something that few thought would happen again and got the club back in the premier league.
He is beloved by the fanbase and can do no wrong because what this is is still 100x better than what that was under hughton, under meson, under kinnear, under, mcclaren, under mccleash, under O'Neil, under Pearce etc.

Even so that doen't mean that Steve is bigger than the football club who employ him.
Perhaps if it was their 250M that EM has put in since he's been here they may think differently I don't know.
EM is not without some blame either don't misunderstand me.

Exactly. It was a team effort that got us promoted so everyone in that team will have to take some responsibility if we get relegated.
