Current Players Thread

So we have a thread on the manager and after every defeat, everyone is saying Cooper out etc.

Well I'm.changing it up. Players out.

This squad is not good enough, end of. Williams, Toffolo, Richards, Freuler, Danilo, Ayew, Wood, Lingard, Dennis. These guys have been poor investments (so far) and most don't look like getting much of a return. (I still have hope for Danilo. Just included him as he was shit today)

Unlike everyone whose desperate to assign blame to someone, I don't think there's anyone. Just that these guys haven't been up to it but that was the best we could get based on our status at the time. You've got much better chance to survive when you can build around a core of players and we didn't have that this year sadly due to only having a few from last year left over.

There's plenty that are, not everyone true.

Even the ones that aren't are ragging on him though. I'm just saying why are the bang average players getting off. As if some random coach could suddenly turn these guys into world beaters.

Unfortunately Wassy they players out will be decided for us.

Johnson 100% leaves. I doubt we can afford to keep MGW. Any decent fee we can recoup for any player will be looked at. Loanees will all go

The harsh truth is we have already spent our 3 year parachute payment. But its Ok we will have Chris Wood next year cos no-one will be idiotic enough to spend what we did. Don’t forget Hwang and Bowler too.

You all realise that the Coach takes a lot of the responsibility for the current squad right?

I believe MGW will stay, not sure he'd done enough for someone to pay us 30m so we'll keep him, not much he can do about it.

Brennan sale will cover the losses for next year.

I wonder if we can get Spence back on loan.

Wassy, I admire your loyalty to Cooper but bloody hell, he's not above criticism. Its been the same old approach and result tonight and its pathetic. But criticism of him doesnt mean we want him fired.

I'm not saying he's above criticism. However the players are definitely not either.

Cooper should not be in charge of transfers, no coach should be. I don't believe he will have had a huge say in the majority of these aside from, do you want this player we've made an offer for. Yes I do. He's not a scout.
