It’s abundantly clear the players are absolutely fighting for him. And the last 20 games show that we can get the required points. Players coming back from injury This will be a big blot on the big man’s copybook

If he sacks him it’ll kill everything and we’ll end up with Benitez and we’ll go down and everything will go back to how it was before Cooper. Championship, shit, hit and hope dross

If we lose to Leeds, we will most likely go down. I see no sense in getting rid of a coach with his track record in the championship.
It would be a terrible mistake. Whatever the criticisms over tactics, the players and fans are still behind him and I for one would become very pessimistic about the future of the club.

I agree with most. I can't see what is to be gained by sacking him now. If we go down, he deserves the opportunity to get us back up. He is the best manager/coach we have had for years, to sack him seems madness to me.
Also, I predict, if sacked, he will be snapped up quickly by a Prem team. I think some decisions he makes can be odd at times but I can't comprehend going on the manager merry- go-round again. It will be starting again from scratch.

Panic on the streets of London

The big problem we have got is the away form, with 6 out of the last 10 being away I can certainly see why he would be twitching. It's been some time since we have looked likely away. The pressure on the home games is massive and we've not won one of those in the last 4 either. That's where the pressure is coming from. Our last 4 home games are really tough too except Southampton. That's the realism of the situation.

The season is decided over 38 games not the last few. Got to hold our nerve and believe.
I can't help thinking that there is just too much money in football, every team is petrified about going down. The financial difference between Premier and Championship keeps getting wider and it's bad for the game.

I'm firmly in the stick camp. If we go down we go down together and pray MGW and Brennan are willing to give us another season with Coops at the helm. Players will go but we should still have a good enough squad to bounce back and be stronger for it with the nucleolus of a good squad better equipped at staying up.
