That's great to hear.

Forest need to add to Lolley's threat with another winger, a left winger to mix it up if Lolley gets 'game planned' out the game.

Forest are finally in a position of strength, it would be great to finally add from that position instead of dismantling it as has happened over the years (eg. Hart era's play off team, Davies play off team not getting Shorey in at LB, Davies MKII getting rid of Geddy and not effectively replacing...Psycho's team losing Antonio...Darlow, Las', Burke, Britt being sold etc, etc.)

We're not that far from the the January window.

It's going to be a pivotal month to our chances of the top 6 and any hope of catching the front two who are finding ways to win when Forest haven't.

A commanding leader at CH in his prime, a quality LB to attack teams, an experienced left winger with goals and an ACM that can stamp their match winning authority on games.  I think a lot of Forest's problems come from the lopsided nature of the team down the left.  Seems imbalanced to me.  Forest recent run has coincided with Dawson being out.  They don't seem as composed.  And with Jack not at LB, they seem imbalanced.  There's two positions right there.  And the left wing seems to be a constant issue.  And the ACM seems a lightweight area...or non-existent at times.  I don't think we have true depth in those positions.  Not if Forest want to be top 6 with any kind of authority.

Some may say a Keeper who can catch and command and some might say a striker who can make something for himself.

That would make 6 players total though.

But perhaps teh recent malaise has given Aitor 'eyes to see' what must be done and the January window will be more far reaching than the 2-3 he thought he needed.

We're not far off.  Think we need pace, strength and power AND experience adding to the forward line.  Teams seem to have found us out a bit at home.

That's the frustrating thing.  But when Leeds are two nil down to Villa...they are relentless and find a way to win just as they found a way to 'cheat' *COUGH* draw against Forest.

What’s up with him? Only 2 games in but he has been pretty anonymous in both. Doesnt seem to have last seasons spark so far.
Defenders are clearly more aware of his threat now and often double up on him but even in his body language he doesnt look happy. Concern or nothing to see here?

He did not start last season so well either.

He was substitute for the opening game last season and then was substituted twice in the next three games; his season took off after the Birmingham game when he came on as a second half substitute and scored a great goal

Think he just hasn't got back in the flow yet, not receiving as much of the ball as he did either he'll come good.

Hopefully a few games against some slightly weaker opposition will help build his confidence

The key to Joe doing better is to have more ball and space if that doesn’t sound obvious. Two tough matches so far without a lot of possession. Oppositions can give him special attention when we have limited ball and we don’t have other out balls up front. When we gel as an attacking force he should get more space and look better. It would really have helped if we had other threats up front, especially pace up the middle and on the other wing, so the opposition is stretched more.
