Skybet has Roy Hodgson as early favourite, that'll get them scoring...

We just look so passive and not willing to put that meaty tackle to set the tone. I was hoping Shelvey might be that guy to help toughen up that midfield and allow the more creative players to be a bit more expressive. But with the introduction of the two new forwards we have lost a lot of shape without the ball and with a midfield and defence that isn't the quickest with our current available players we are just not able to get into games or close the ball.
The more games that go pass and the longer we stay out the bottom three is what i think we are counting on now. Limping to the finish line and hope for the best.

Pretty much my views.

Yates and Kouyate will set a big difference to the mentality and competitiveness of the team.

I was just about to post the same until I scrolled down and saw this.
I think you can add Niakhate to that too. And Awoniyi, despite his technical limitations; both are physical and seem to have honest endeavour within them.

I posted elsewhere recently that the top teams have real pace to stretch teams and the bottom teams real physicality to try and stop them, but with our injuries we are falling between the two.
Add the big lads to MGW jonno and shelvey and we will be a different proposition after the international break.

They've appointed Paddy McCarthy under21s manager so we'll have to see how that one goes

FFS. Its not so much these are bad results for us. Just that Southampton have scored 3 vs Tottenham. Leeds have scored 4 goals away.

Can you honestly see us managing that kind of performance right now?

Yep. All the other clubs showing some grit and we look poor. Thats why statements like we knew it would be a dogfight and we'd have taken this position at the start of the season dont wash with me. We're getting worse, and others are getting better. Momentum is everything at this, the business end of the season.

Yes, we are showing relegation form and most of our rivals are not.

Southampton let 3 in wolves let four in Leeds let two it’s not like they were massive winning margins from what it sounds like wolves let Leeds have 3 shots on target and they scored all 3. Bournemouth let 3 in as well.

Now to see what Everton and West Ham do this weekend
