If everyone is fit I suspect Cooper’s first choice midfield will be Yates, Shevley, Freuler.

Danilo and Scarpa both options off the bench

Danilo, Lodi, Scarpa and Felipe must have been thinking what the f**k is going on here.

I thought that. It was a non typical prem game.

Leeds ‘looked’ to be be effective in that first half but to me there was little quality really. The did breech us on 3 occasions- Navas with 2 important but straightforward saves and one actually very good challenge by Boly to put off the striker in on goal.
However, it was not sophisticated and basically long balls and pick up pieces on the second ball - straight out of the Warnock playbook of the 2000s.
Once cooper sorted it out at half time shape wise they had nothing with us creating the only chance of note - even when managing the game and protecting the lead.

I was thinking Danilo more like Kante or Fernandinho in style

It's nice to listen to Scarpa and to hear how he wants to speak only in English and to embrace the English culture etc his attitude seems spot on and hopefully Danilo, Felipe and Lodi will follow suit and copy the example that Scarpa is setting.

Maybe it's just coincidence but Lodi seems to be enjoying his best run of form since Scarpa arrived.

Congratulations to Renan Lodi, who has been called up to the Brazil squad for their friendly against Morocco.

He has been brilliant. Right up there for player of the season for me. Not as glamorous or swashbuckling as quite a few of us probably thought he would be (Brazilian stereotype) but a really effective LB!

Really hoping we take up the option we have at 25m to buy him in the summer.
Highly doubt there is anybody out there at his age profile and quality who would be better than Renan.

Yep. £25m looked ridiculous when he first came but now he's settled we can now see a £25m footballer in him.
