Freuler was class today.

i used to read that about John McGovern after most games. He lifted2 European cups.

Boly was a brick wall today the bloke was immense.

He was my man of the match but of course the sponsors gave it to Navas who was also good.

Fantastic game management. Aurier, Boly, Freuler and Navas were crucial. This kind of nous and game experience is going to be vital. Pleased for Williams too, he did a good job when he moved to play on the left side after a tricky first half. Not the game for MGW or Wood, but both battled well. Colback and Surridge great willing subs who will do anything to win. I think the criticism of Wood has been over the top, he’ll win us points before the season is out. Our squad is really coming together now.

He is off the pace, can be expected.
He's also very different to Surridge and Awoniyi, so the team has to adapt too.
I'm confident he'll improve.

Freuler was class today.

Unsung hero if you ask me. He won't win any awards but is integral to the side. We would be a lot worse off without him.

Jack is a very reliable and dependable substitute. When he comes on you know he's going make the midfield more solid and there aren't going to be any silly mistakes.

I think we should just use him like today. Could he do it over 90? Or against a better club?

If you mean Wood then agreed he wasn't at his best today. There may be games that suit be more than this one. Daft to write him off after two matches though - he's scored enough goals in the Premier League in the past to suggest he'll be some use to us in the future.

Surridge is a brilliant weapon to deploy on 70mins. When he comes on he's a massive outlet ball. His ability to take the ball, avoid the challenge and move us forward is brilliant. I hope he realises how important he is to the side in this way we now play.
