Injuries And Suspensions
Think he was just annoyed he had to come off.
He wasn’t limping badly so hopefully he will be fine for Leeds.

We need him to be as he is our main man at present.

The biggest difference between championship and premiership is the intensity for me. Having the ability as a team to control the game to take in breathers is what I have noticed from the better teams at the City Ground this year. We are underdogs in almost every game and have to scrap for everything. 100% concert ration and constant covering of gaps when we don’t have the ball (which is far more often than Cooper would like but needs must).

This in turn leads to injuries and learning from past mistakes is to take players off of not 100% up to speed or risk long term injuries- Niakhate, Mangala, Lingard are cases in point.

Other impact injuries are bound to happen over the season.

I’m glad Scarpa and Danilo went off as in my view it was the optimum time not to risk injury when getting up to speed following the Brazilian close season.

Independent reckons Henderson should be back for the Fulham match, which may mean we don't pursue the move for Keylor Navas.

Big gamble that is. What if he breaks down again? As a minimum I'd be pushing him to commit to his future I think and getting on the blower to Man U to do the deal.

I reckon good news if Hendo fit, worry about it in summer then.

Rather than spunking millions on a big name to sit on our bench would much prefer us to buy a young back up keeper with real potential to develop. I know we have Kanuric but we have no idea about him competitively. Someone who has performed well say at L1 level and could still step in this season if necessary.

Do we think Niakhate or Richards might get minutes in 2nd leg i wonder how many more points we might have if we had a fit Niakhate all season

Can't see it. Not even been confirmed that they're back in full training yet. The update was only that they *should* be training in the next week or two and that was last week.

Thse midfielder bids do feel a bit ominous for Yayes don't they. Hopefully they can say something on it on Wednesday although if its something bad then he deserves privacy too. Would be a massive blow if he's out for a while.

Just hope I'm panicking for nothing.

Cooper confirmed MGW will be out for 'a little while.'

That's a massive kick in the teeth.
